Lost in Transit is a classic caravan with loads of character. We have lived in this van for an extended period and it is fitted out with all the creature comforts needed for short or long getaways. Includes air conditioning, fan and diesel heater for comfort. TV, Radio, toilet and shower, gas or electric hot water and walk around queen size bed, plenty of storage, gas oven and cooktop amongst other comforts. The van is totally self sufficient for off-grid camping with two solar panels that recharge the battery quickly.

Hiring rules

  • No smoking inside
  • No pets
  • No festivals
  • Hirer age restrictions min 25 years old
  • Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises
  • RV must return cleaned or risk a fee
  • No P plate licenses
  • Past towing experience is required
  • Brake controller required
  • EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call the NRMA. Then call me!
  • DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
  • NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/ NO Smoking inside
  • UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
  • CLEANING Clean the equipment and Van. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    The van and annex looked ideal for our needs and when we first contacted Andrew he responded quickly and answered the couple of questions we had. Andrew and Ro delivered the van to our site at the agreed time and set up the van and annex very well. We had a good handover and we had a few more questions early on in our stay which they answered quickly - which was great. Andrew and Ro collected the van at the agreed time and are lovely and friendly people to work with. We recommend this van and the owners.

    Everything that we could possibly want. Over the week we had temps 7 - 36 degrees. Van had us covered as did Andrew. I felt secure and comfortable.
