Green Bean is part of the family, my grandkids love being around her. She is an iconic teardrop camper in a bright turquoise colour. Easy to tow, easy to set up, comfortable and fun. She comes set up for an easy getaway. Luxury queen bed with linen provided if required. Camp kitchen complete with 60L Engel refrigerator, cutlery, pots and pans, kitchen sink connected to a 50L water tank, and 2 burner gas cooker. An awning, a ground sheet and welcome mat plus table and chairs complete the picture. For stopovers at un-powered campsites, a 200w solar blanket can be provided to keep the battery charged. At powered sites use the 20m power lead provided. Pack clothes, food and beverages and you are ready to go. You will always turn heads in the Green Bean and get plenty of conversation from curious and admiring fellow campers.

Special towing information

Towing the bean doesn't require special equipment but your vehicle must be rated to tow 1300kg to 1500kg. You will require a small round 7 pin plug for the Bean's lights and indicators. An Anderson plug is also required if you wish to re-charge the Bean's on-board battery while towing.

Hiring rules

  • Offroad use not allowed, Camplify insurance is very specific on this point.
  • No smoking inside the bean
  • Be ready to stow the awning when the wind rises, even the bestanchored awning will flog and damage in a strong blow.
  • Contact Camplify immediately in the case of emergency or damage to the bean.
  • Relax and have a fun time with this cool retro teardrop (golden rule always smile)
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    The Bean van was fantastic. Geoff the owner is the nicest guy and very helpful and accommodating. Totally recommend hiring this van if you want a cool getaway. Even in the rain this weekend we were warm and dry and had a great time

    Our short camping trip was amazing. Beans provided everything we needed and kept us out of the cold. It was cozy and so easy to tow. Geoff was also lovely to deal with. Thank you for everything :) Would def hire again.
