The Whale Tale is the perfect getaway on wheels! What will your adventurous tale be? Pick up from Coolangatta Airport, it's an ideal choice for both locals and interstate and international travellers. The Whale Tale offers Comfort with the ability to run the Air Conditioner in the sleeping area. Convenience as she fits into all car spots. Adventure with complete off grid living. Can sleep 2 adults and 2 children comfortably or 3 Adults in the King Bed. Inside, you'll find three front seats, two seats in the rear with anchor points for child seats. Space for surfboards- up to 9ft. The U shaped lounge/dining area easily converts into a king bed. 1200 watts of solar power, 90L fridge/freezer, 12v Shower with 22L water tank. Super easy to drive as she is Automatic KITCHEN AND EQUIPMENT Left side slide-out kitchen. Fridge + freezer Gas Cooker Includes cookware, plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery 4 outdoor camping chairs SLEEPING King bed OFF-GRID Solar power for off-grid living. Inverter for 240v 3 USB ports for charging. MAXX FAN & FULL INSULATION Fresh air and all year round comfort. Fan can bring the cool air in or blow the hot air out.

Hiring rules

  • No Smoking allowed inside of vehicle
  • Provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank otherwise fee applies of $3.00/litre.
  • Kilometre Inclusions:
  • Hirers are permitted a daily quota of 200km. Additional fee of 30 cents per km are applied thereafter, calculated and charged at the end of your trip.
  • Tolls
  • All tolls charged to the vehicle during your trip are calculated and charged at the end of your trip.
  • IMPORTANT
  • Vehicle height 3m
  • Always check barrier heights prior to accessing car park areas turn back if necessary to avoid accidents, injury and impact damage.
  • No offroad driving / beach driving / extended driving on gravel roads.
  • Driving on unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing (in Camplify Messages) before the trip begins.
  • Any damage must be reported immediately – who, what, where and when will be required.
  • Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 1300 416 133 – they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me!
  • Payment of a deposit is required within 48hrs of your booking being approved, otherwise I may cancel it.
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
