Newcastle Van Hire Frosty, a 2024 VW Transporter ticks all the boxes with its quality Skyline Campers fit out. All the creature comforts you will need to keep your journey smooth and enjoyable. Just turn up with your food and drive away Fit out to sleep 4 with a pop top (120kg weight limit) and a generous size double bed below. You can be set up within 30 minutes of pulling up at your fave camping spot with modern design features making ease of set up capable for solo traveller or those with small kids, first time campers and the seasoned campers wanting that touch of comfort and convenience. - Automatic drive - Long Wheel Base Drives easy into regular parking spot so easy to navigate around the city and those winding coastal road - 2.1m height - Diesel fuel - excellent fuel consumption - Internal Kitchen - Induction Cooktop (must be plugged into mains) or gas stove (outdoor use) available upon request. Must BYO gas - Reversing camera - Two child car seat anchor points -comfortable memory foam mattress topper - Awning - easy wind out - Coffee Pod Machine, tea and coffee supplied - Kettle, toaster and microwave (must be plugged into mains) - All cooking utensils and set up for 4 - 85 L fridge/freezer (runs on the solar) - Solar powered and lithium battery - Camp chairs supplied - Beach towels supplied - Basic pantry items eg oil, salt/pepper supplied - Board games - Linen supplied at extra charge - Located close to Newcastle Interchange, Newcastle Airport, Port Stephens and Maitland. No off road adventures. Non smoking or vaping. 2 child restraint anchor points. Can arrange airport or train station transportation (subject to availability and additional costs) BYO has if you aren’t at a powered site and don’t forget to request the outdoor gas stove on booking. Can arrange light hampers with Newcastles finest goods (5 days minimum notice and additional costs)

Hiring rules

  • Maximum an average of 350kms per day. $0.25 per additional KM charge (Eg if you hire for 10 days total trip is 3500km allowance)
  • Pet owners must clean the interior of the van themselves or additional pet fee will apply.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Weve just returned from our North NSW adventure, and this camper truly made the trip. Communication with Sarah was outstanding friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful from the moment we booked. Frosty was an absolute dream. It came fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and was so comfortable for the three of us (one adult and two teens). Its clearly been very well cared for beautifully set up, easy to convert into sleeping mode, and an absolute pleasure to travel in. A huge thank you to the brilliant hosts for making the entire experience so easy and enjoyable. We couldnt recommend this camper highly enough!

    Sarah made the whole process very smooth. She answered all my novice questions patiently ahead of time and did a thorough handover when she dropped the van off to us. Frosty is kitted out so thoughtfully with everything you could possibly need - especially love the coffee machine. Installing the baby seat was a challenge the first time, but after a few goes we got the hang of it and it was easy and quick. Frosty is spacious and comfy, it was perfect for our first family holiday with bub. Definitely got the van-life bug!

    Frosty was a pleasure to drive, extremely easy to set-up and had all the home comforts that I needed for my break. The zippered panels in the top part made it feel airy and open. It was almost like being in a tent but with many extra home comforts and lots of convenience added in. It is my favourite of the hired campers Ive used so far & Sarah was a wonderful Campify host!
