Whether you're headed to the coast or into the bush, Hubert’s got what you need to travel comfortably. The van comfortably sleeps two, with space for a third passenger if needed. With relatively low kilometers, a solid service history, and Toyota’s legendary reliability, you can trust Hubert to get you there and back without a hitch. The diesel engine is powerful yet fuel-efficient, and the van's modest size — plus a built-in reversing camera — makes navigating busy streets and tight spots a breeze. 🛏️ Sleeping Hubert comfortably sleeps two on a cozy double foam mattress, complete with high-quality linen and cotton bedding tailored to the season. For those warm summer nights, a three-speed Sirocco fan is mounted next to the bed to keep the air flowing, and the front windows can be popped open with fitted bug nets — so you can sleep soundly, bite-free. ⚡ Power The van is powered by a 120Ah lithium auxiliary battery, which charges via the engine while driving or from the 200W solar panel mounted on the roof ☀️🚐. Even without sun or drive time, the system can comfortably power your essentials for up to four days with regular use — ideal for off-grid adventures. 🍳 Indoor & Outdoor Cooking Cook in comfort, rain or shine! Hubert’s large slide-out kitchen drawer tucks neatly under the side awning for breezy outdoor cooking, and it also flips open inside the van for those drizzly days. The 60L fridge gives you plenty of space for fresh food (or a slab of cold beer 🍻), and the fully stocked kitchen includes all the essentials — pots, pans, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and even some handy basic condiments. (👀 Check the listing photos to see the full kitchen kit!) A bin and cleaning supplies are, of course, included too. 📦 Storage Bring it all — Hubert’s got room. With two huge pull-out drawers at the rear and clever storage throughout the van, you’ll have a spot for everything. Roof racks are also available for surfboards, kayaks, or extra gear, with heavy-duty Grunt straps included 🏄‍♂️🚣. 🏡🚐 Parking/Pick up If you come to pick up Hubert with a car, you are most welcome to park your car in our underground parking garage for extra peace of mind; or there is also free street parking outside our place. And if there is anything else you would need to make your road trip the best one ever, just let us know! We will do our best to accommodate any requests.

Hiring rules

  • The van should be returned in a similar state of cleanliness to when it was picked up, if unusually dirty a fee will be incurred.
  • 200 kms/day included 30 cents per extra km
  • No smoking inside
  • No off roading/unsealed roads unless preapproved
  • Awning must be packed away in bad weather
  • Hirer must be 22 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Had an awesome time. The group we were with was very impressed and kept asking to us sleep in their tents so they could have the van instead. Would definitely hire again.

    We loved the van . Very well set up and comfortable ! The van drives really well . We drove to Bathurst for a family Christmas gathering. No hassles at all and it was the perfect place to rest between festivities. Communication was excellent - thanks so much !

    I rented the van for 11 days and couldnt have been happier! It was super clean, very well equipped, and had everything you could possibly need. If I had my own van, Id probably take a lot of inspiration from this one. Communication was excellent quick, easy, and friendly. Id definitely rent this van again anytime and Im so happy about all the wonderful memories I made during the trip!

    I am genuinely impressed by how comfortable and well thought out the setup was. This van is a sanctuary on wheels, with a surprisingly plush bed that I could fully stretch out on and got a great sleep. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect blend of adventure and comfort.
