It extends, but not fully to become an annex*** FAQs STARTING YOUR HIRE Please allow 20-30 minutes at collection time for us to walk through the motorhome with you and answer any questions. We are happy to consider an earlier collection time depending on availability (outside business hours and weekends will work best for us). There is a Motorhome Manual on board, so please familiarise yourself with this before you set off. Most essentials are included so you can hit the road as soon as possible! ENDING YOUR HIRE Please allow 15 minutes at drop off time for us to walk through the motorhome with you and do a final check. We are happy to consider a later drop off time depending on availability. Before you drop off, and just like standard rental cars or holiday homes, we ask that you:  Leave the motorhome in a similar state that you found it (e.g. dishes cleaned and put away, generally tidy).  Toilet cassette emptied and washed,  Fill up the tank If you don’t do the above, an additional service fee of $100.00 each will be charged. E.g. if the toilet cassette is not empty, in addition to it being a yucky job, we actually have to drive to the nearest dump point to empty it for a fee. WHAT IS IT LIKE TO DRIVE? Lazy Sunday Motorhome is an easy drive. It is automatic transmission, and equipped with reversing camera. Some handy tips are:  It is a larger vehicle - brake earlier than you would for a car to stop in time, and it will take a little more time to get up to speed.  It is a high vehicle - watch out for low hanging things (branches, roofs etc.) above. You shouldn’t have a problem on the road as branches are cut to allow clearance for trucks and other high vehicles, but sometimes when you are on small roads or parking this is a consideration, and most undercover carparks will be off limits.  It is a longer vehicle – when reversing, make sure you know what what’s behind you (low rocks or poles can be missed on the reverse camera), or if the road dips/curves (the ends can scrape the road).  It is a heavier vehicle – so it can get bogged easily, especially on grass in wet weather . Please be aware of this at campgrounds and showgrounds, and try to stick to more solid ground in wet weather. CAN CHILD SEATS BE FITTED? Lazy Sunday Motorhome can accommodate 2 child seats. You will need to ensure they are fitted securely and correctly. HOW DOES POWER WORK? Lazy Sunday Motorhome operates a dual battery system, one for the engine and the other for the house. Depending on usage, the house battery will last for up to 3 days. The house battery recharges from the solar panels, when connected to mains power and trickle charges when driving. Therefore, if free camping, it is recommended that you find a place to connect to mains power at least every 2 or 3 days. In addition to charging the battery, the power points (e.g. to charge devices), microwave, some appliances and heater/air-conditioner will only work if plugged into mains power. WHERE CAN I STAY? There are many campgrounds and holiday parks and these are the recommended locations for overnight stays as they will provide access to mains power, water, dump points and other facilities. A cheaper option is country showgrounds. Free camping is also possible, and we have found that rest stops are generally fine. However you should be sure that it is not prohibited in that area, as fines can apply. Each state is a bit different, for instance, Tasmania and Western Australia have many designated free camping areas. Queensland and Byron Bay in particular are stricter about roadside camping, so please do your research! There are handy apps like AirCamp and CamperMate which show free and paid camping areas and holiday parks in Australia. Wherever you go, please remember to leave no trace of your visit. CAN I PARK MY CAR AT YOUR HOUSE? Yes, there is parking available on our street or nature strip and we can keep an eye on your vehicle, however we can’t guarantee its safety.

Hiring rules

• ✅BOOKING PROCESS 1. Request your booking dates 2. Reply to our questionnaire 3. Booking approved 4. Deposit payment required within 48 hours to secure dates 5. Full payment deducted 30 days before trip 6. Holiday time!
• 🧭 HIRE PERIOD the minimum hire period is 4 days. Please note that all Camplify bookings are per day (and not per night like standard hotel bookings). The booked days include your collection and return days we aim to be flexible on these timings depending on availability, to allow maximum time for your holiday!
• 🚍TRIP LIMITS – our included limit is 150km per day. We calculate this based on the number of days booked and anything over is charged at $1.00 per km. This is to ensure we can maintain a great motorhome.
• 🚫NO Off Road Driving / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads / NO Smoking in Vehicle.
• ⛽ FUEL – You will receive the motorhome with a full tank. Please return full of Diesel.
• 🧹CLEANING – Please leave in a similar condition to when you received it. Clean and put away what you use, wash and empty the toilet cassette and rubbish. If no cleaning is done, a cleaning fee of $150.00 will be charged.
• 🔥GAS All hires include 2 x gas bottles. Please let us know if one has emptied on your trip.
• 💥DAMAGE If damage occurs, you must report it to us immediately – please recall details on who, what, where and when.
• 🛠FAULTS If any warning lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If there is an incident (e.g. flat battery, keys locked in car, a minor accident or fault) or breakdown, please get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call the NRMA. Then please notify us!
