Perfect for couples, solo travellers, or a parent + child getaway, it features a luxurious queen-size bed (genuinely hard to leave), a handcrafted Marri timber interior, and a thoughtfully designed layout that makes life on the road feel easy. What you’ll love: -Comfortable queen bed with premium mattress -Fully equipped kitchen (induction cooktop, microwave, fridge/freezer) -Solar + lithium battery system (off-grid capable for a few days) -3000W inverter + 240V plug-in option -Beautiful, light-filled interior with plenty of storage. To make your trip even easier, we’re happy to pre-stock the fridge and pantry before you arrive — perfect if you want to hit the road straight away.   • We kindly ask no smoking in or around the bus — this helps keep Yarta—arra fresh and welcoming for all guests.
  • Well—behaved small to medium—sized pets may be considered on request. Please get in touch before booking so we can make sure Yarta—arra is a good fit.
  • Please avoid unsealed or off—road driving unless we’ve agreed beforehand. If the bus is returned very dusty, an additional cleaning fee may apply.
  • We really appreciate Yarta—arra coming back clean and tidy — a quick sweep of the floors, wiped benches, and rubbish removed makes a big difference.
  • Please empty the grey water tank before return.
  • The diesel tank should be refuelled prior to drop—off.
  • If you’re planning to bring any high—powered appliances (like hairdryers or coffee machines), just check with us first — some items can overload the system.
  • Most importantly, please treat Yarta—arra with care and kindness — he’s well loved, and we hope you’ll love him too.
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Thank you Sarah and Yarta-arra for an incredible long weekend in the Flinders Ranges! The bus had everything we needed, which meant there was no time wasted setting up and packing down a campsite like weve done before. The bed was cozy and warm on frosty mornings and having freshly brewed coffee without stepping outside was a luxury bonus! After big days of hiking and exploring, coming back to the comfort of the bus was a major upgrade on our usual nature weekends all the comfort of home on wheels. Well definitely be taking Yarta-arra out for another adventure when were in Adelaide!

Thanks also for taking such exceptional care of the bus. He came back spotless and it was obvious youd treated him with a lot of respect, which is always greatly appreciated. I loved seeing the photos from your trip too - they looked incredible! Thanks for letting me share them. A little insider tip: the freshly ground coffee was from Incognito, a fantastic local café.     We had such a lovely, easy few days in Yarta-arra. Its incredibly cozy and thoughtfully set up - everything you need without feeling overdone. Morning coffees with the doors open, fresh air all around, and then curling up inside at night it was the perfect little reset. Its such a pleasure to drive, its got great acceleration for a bus and happily cruises along the freeways. The sound system is great for the long drives too! You can tell a lot of care has gone into it. It just feels fun, warm, comfortable, and really easy to settle into. We left feeling relaxed and already talking about when we can take it out again. Highly recommend.

    Had the most amazing trip in Sarah's beautiful bus. Sarah's communication was amazing and she was very warm and welcoming when we picked up the bus. The bus is well equipped with everything that is needed to make for an incredible trip, the very comfortable queen size bed and full size fridge was a winner for us. We will definitely be hiring this beautiful home on wheels again.

Niina Marni!? I started off life on the beautiful Eyre Peninsula, and have now travelled across every state and territory of Australia (and lived in half of them)! Yarta-arra, my beloved Coaster bus, was built with care and intention, to be a calm, comfy, and luxurious space for slowing down and reconnecting, whether that's with nature, your travel buddy, or just yourself. His name was gifted by a Kaurna Elder and means meandering around on Country - the perfect expression of respect and gratitude as we travel across the beautiful lands of Australia's First Nations peoples.
