Powered by a fuel-efficient turbo diesel engine and equipped with cruise control, Mahana 2 is designed for comfortable long-distance touring, whether you're heading up the Coral Coast, into the South West, or beyond. The van features a 240-volt onboard power system supplied via an inverter connected to a 300Ah battery bank, charged by both solar panels and the vehicle's alternator. This allows you to enjoy many of the comforts of home even when travelling off-grid. Included onboard are: 240V cooking appliances Coffee machine Camp oven Blender USB charging ports Large dual-zone fridge/freezer A 63-litre fresh water tank provides filtered drinking water and can be easily refilled during your travels. The practical layout includes a slide-out pantry and outdoor kitchen, making meal preparation simple and convenient wherever you stop. Sleeping Arrangements Mahana 2 can comfortably accommodate up to four people: Internal bed sleeping two adults, ideal for urban stays, colder weather, or stormy nights. Rooftop tent sleeping two adults, perfect for enjoying fresh air, elevated views, and summer breezes. For added comfort and privacy, the rear windows are professionally tinted, and a magnetic mosquito screen is supplied to help keep insects out while allowing airflow through the van. When you hire Mahana 2, you’ll have access to an interactive online chat agent to assist you throughout your journey. The chat agent will provide step-by-step guides on using the vehicle, from setting up the awnings to managing the fridge/freezer. It will also offer tips on dealing with common outback issues, like keeping ants at bay during your travels.

  • 200kms per day is included in the booking price.
  • An $0.50/km charge will be incurred for additional kilometers.
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older
  • This is a nonsmoking van
  • Pets allowed
  • Inform us of any breakages or damage
  • The vehicle comes with a full tank of Diesel; please return it full.
  • If any lights on the dashboard appear, stop immediately and call us before proceeding.
  • No beach driving
  • Any fines due to illegal camping or traffic offences will be the hirer's responsibility
  • Ask if you have any questions
  • Van needs 2.5m of clearance due to the solar panels and tent.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Its already the second time I book with Dean and his Van is amazing !! Once with my mum and once with my sister . Its such a great comfort to have two bedrooms The electrical installation is really clean efficient and allows us to have so much comfort ( the van is better equipped than most kitchens ) Driving is easy - my sister and my mum are both more used to European roads and they both handle the drive very easily Their is a lot of storage and camping equipment Dean is great for all type of communication and I really hope to rent this van for my next trip Thank you very much

    Thank you Dean for a wonderful van. I had an amazing time exploring the South Coast. The van had everything I needed and more! Having electrical appliances made cooking a breeze! Bed was comfy and warm The van was aslo nice and easy to drive
