Hiring rules
- 🚐 Hiring Rules for Our Van
- 1. No Smoking
- • Absolutely no smoking inside or near the van.
- 2. No Pets Inside
- • Pets are not permitted inside the caravan under any circumstances.
- 3. Linen Not Provided
- • Please BYO all linen, pillows, and towels.
- 4. Cleaning & Return Condition
- • The van must be returned clean and tidy, including:
- • All dishes cleaned and put away in the correct location.
- • Rubbish removed
- • Toilet emptied and rinsed
- • A cleaning fee will apply if returned in an unsatisfactory condition.
- 5. Fuel & Gas
- • Return gas bottles full or a refill fee will apply.
- 6. Battery Management
- • Do not allow the battery system to run flat.
- • Monitor battery levels regularly.
- • Use highdraw appliances (e.g. aircon, toaster) responsibly, especially when offgrid. Battery’s can be damaged if run flat
- • Ask us if you’re unsure how to check or manage power usage.
- 7. No Parties or Loud Gatherings
- • Strictly no parties, loud music, or disruptive gatherings in or around the van.
- 8. Respect Our Family Van
- • Please treat the caravan as if it were your own. This is our family’s van — we love it and we want every guest to enjoy it as much as we do. Respect and care are expected.
- 9. Damage & Checklist Compliance
- • A prehire and posthire checklist with photos must be completed for insurance purposes.
- • Please report any damage or issues immediately.
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Strict
- Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
