The camper is located in Heidelberg Melbourne can can be picked up outside of hours and the evening prior to the hire staring. On pick up we will give you a full rundown on how to set up and pack down the camper, it is very easy once shown. The camper comes with two tables, four chairs, and all the cooking equipment you need, including cutlery. The camper is equipped with a large slide-out 75lt fridge, great lighting, and two large lithium batteries that will keep you going for days. We also include a solar blanket. With two large water tanks you have plenty on board for several days away. The camper comfortably sleeps four inside, with a king bed and a double bed inside. Outside, we can provide a swag and stretcher to comfortably sleep another adult. The van comes with a pull-out four-burner stove and sink with water. It also has an awesome heater to keep you warm all night. All equipment is stored in the camper, so you won’t need to fill up your car with camping gear. As noted we also offer exclusive access to a private campsite in the King Valley located in Cheshunt on the King River.

Special towing information

Please ensure your car is cable of towing the Opus OP4. The van weighs approx 2000kg fully loaded and the tow ball weight is 180kg. Please check to make sure your vehicle is suitable to tow the van before coming to pick it up. We have an electric brake controller so no need for electric brakes to be fitted to your car.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had a fantastic weekend away in the camper trailer. The handover was excellent and made setup and pack up easy. It experience was so good we are planning on hiring it again in the future.

    Our time away with the opus 4 was fabulous. It had plenty of space, all the cooking and eating utensils we needed and the handover and communication was great. It was easy to set up and pack up- in fact the first 2 set ups and 1 pack up was in the dark and we nailed it. Our 8 and 10 year old children also loved it. Definitely happy with this hire and would recommend to others thinking of hiring.

    We took this van to Buffalo National Park and it was excellent. All of the features and equipment worked perfectly and despite the cold it was warm and comfortable; the diesel heater was a god-send. The pantry and utensils drawer is perfectly stocked and everything clean. Claire and Damian great to deal with; will rent again.

    Trailer is exactly as described. In great condition and very quick easy to set up and pack down thanks to very comprehensive handover from owners! Will look to hire it again!
