New MDC SR16 Island, with queen bed, shower, toilet, fridge, freezer, inside sink and cooktop, smart TV, and outside bbq, this caravan has everything you need to get away for a while. It even has an electric awning! The caravan is fully set up with everything you need, including cutlery, plates, cups, pots, pans, chairs and a table. You only need to bring your food, clothes, bedding and toiletries. If staying somewhere with 240v supply, you can also enjoy the microwave and airconditioner. If off-grid, there's a 200 Ah lithium battery, solar panels, 240v inverter and 160 litres of water. This is a lightweight camper with a tare of just over 2000kg and a maximum weight of 2500kg, so can be towed by a wide range of vehicles. Suitable for tow vehicles with a 50mm tow ball. This van hire includes towing mirrors, an electric braking system, and reverse camera with windscreen suction mount. The van has a 12 pin trailer plug, adaptors are available, please advise your vehicles trailer plug type when booking. Please Note: The van is not available for pickup or drop off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays due to work commitments.

Hiring rules

  • Please ensure the caravan is cleaned prior to return, otherwise a $200.00 cleaning fees may apply
  • Please ensure the toilet is emptied and cleaned, otherwise a fee of $250.00 will apply
  • There is no smoking inside the van
  • Light unsealed road use is OK with prior permission
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Communication with Chris was amazing before and during our hire. The van was immaculately clean and van was as described particularly referencing cooking equipment, cups, plates, cutlery etc. All supplied goods were neatly stored enabling us to neatly access everything and keep the van manageable. Big bonus was the Ziggy BBQ. Van easy to tow. We really enjoyed this van Thanks Chris

    My Holiday was perfect, Chris was fantastic both in pre pick up contact and a full explanation of how the van worked. It was a great van for a solo traveller or couple. The fridge/freezer worked amazingly on just battery and the solar panel on the roof recharged back to 100% each day. I will definitely hire this van again
