Jan the Van is a Toyota Hiace LWB with automatic transmission. She is super easy to drive and you will enjoy the extra comfort of a high quality double mattress, pull out kitchenette with a butane gas double cooktop burner, stylist soft closing drawers in the kitchen, a stainless steel sink, a 55L water tank and a 65L fridge/freezer. The kitchen will be stocked with cutlery, plates, plastic cups, pots and pans. We also offer tea, instant coffee, sugar, salt and pepper. The outdoor shower awning for privacy and hot water system included, sirocco 12v A/C fan, multiple USB and 12v charging ports, reading lights and enough power for multiple days trip. There are 2 rear drawers for all your stuff plus a gazebo for shades. For your safety, reversing camera is also available alongside dash cam and CarPlay/Android Play screen. You will be supplied with 2 camping chairs, a fold out camping table, so you can enjoy the outdoor dining experience. Entering and moving around inside the van barefoot is recommended. We also offer extra entertainment items including card games, boardgames, frisbees, darts, and ring toss. Please contact us with any questions or hire date enquires.

Hiring rules

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.
• Please no smoking inside the van.
• Please let us know if you are travelling interstate.
• Please drive on sealed roads only, no off road 4x4 tracks, no sandy beaches or extended dirt road driving. Driving up to a camp site is allowed.
• A full tank of petrol will be given at the beginning of your trip. Please fill up the petrol tank on your return with Unleaded 91. Otherwise additional fee of $4.00/litre will apply.
• If any damage happens (minor or major), please report it immediately. The who, what, where and when will be required. Just give me a call or send me a message to discuss.
• If you are involved in an accident, pull over and be safe. Please call Camplify on 02 4075 2000 they will advise you on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call/message me.
• If any engine lights come on, or if there are any car issues, please pull over and be safe. Please contact Camplify on 02 4075 2000 they will advise you on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call/message me.
• The van should be clean and tidy on her return home both inside and outside. All dishes, cutlery and pots must be washed, put away and all rubbish disposed of responsibly. Please remove all food and drinks from the fridge. And check that you have all your personal belongings.
• The van will have a full inspection done upon your return, to ensure no damage has occurred. This will include all of the accessories included. To receive a full refund of your deposit bond, the van must be returned in the same condition, as which you received it.
• There is an ETag in the Campervan, so if you choose to take a Freeway or Tollway, all fees and charges are the responsibility of the hirer. The toll fees must be paid within 7 days of the trip ending. Should we receive any unpaid toll notices, this will be sent to you and extra fees will apply.
• Any illegal parking fees or towing fees, will be the sole responsibility and at the expense of the hirer. If you are free camping, please check online for approved areas or free camping sites.
• Any fines incurred during your trip, will be the sole responsibility and at the expense of the hirer.
• Unlimited km's for bookings 20 days and over. Bookings under 20 days are limited to 200km's per day. (E.g. 2 day booking = 400kms total). You will be charged $0.30 cents per kilometre for additional distance travelled over the total allowance. This is calculated at the posthire handover and will be billed at the end of the trip.
• Please treat it like your own home. ^^
