Rambo is a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter ex-ambulance! Some important information to be aware: - ✔️ GPS fitted - ❌ No offroading (2wd hardstanding only. No beaches.) - ❕ Does NOT come with Electric brakes or Mirror Extensions A fitout is in progress and at the time of hire the van interior may differ from photos. Supply of a removable camp bed may be provided on request.

Hiring rules

  • Hiring rules
  • 1. NO smoking, offroading or beach access. 2WD hardstanding only.
  • Additional cleaning fees apply.
  • 2. Vehicle to be returned clean and refuelled.
  • 3. A $150.00$200.00 cleaning fee will be incurred by the hirer for vehicles not returned cleaned and in a state which it went out.
  • 4. A $500.00 outback cleaning fee applies to vehicles requiring additional underbody and/or engine bay clean (eg sand, dust, saltwater, mud ingress) or extraordinary cleaning involving sanitation and biohazard exposure.
  • 5. Vehicles not returned or abandoned away from drop off address will incur penalty hire rates starting at $100.00/day. Costs incurred for vehicle recovery will be charged at $3.00/km + tolls and fuel to hirer.
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    My experience with Rambo was great! Everything was perfect and Eilleen was super flexible with the pick-up and drop-off! Driving Rambo was super smooth, despite its big size!! The only struggle for me was to charge my phone since the usb charger in front of the van was quite slow, so be sure to have a couple of power banks with you or to schedule your journey to have some stops in powered areas! Thanks Eilleen for this amazing adventure! 100% recommended!
