LONG TRIPS: Minimum hire to Byron bay is 5 days Hirers a welcome to take the van up to 200 KMs a day average. This can be spread over a trip for example like 5 days 1000kms and if extra KMs a charge of 25 cents Excess KMs will be charged 25cents per KMs at the completion of the trip. We do this limit like most hirers as the more you drive the vehicle and more maintenance/ wear and tear will apply on our dear campervan. Driving on gravel/dirt roads or any off road with our camper is strictly forbidden, our van is designed to only drive on paved road Van has to be returned cleaned: inside, outside, fridge-dishes etc Van has to be returned with a full fuel tank if not you will get charged for full tank + 30$ for the time incurred If the van is given back uncleaned, stained, pet hair etc you will have to pay cost of the cleaning fee charged by a professional car detailing service

  The van is a real trooper, a great little camper that got us from Sydney to Byron Bay and back without any major issues. This was our first camper van experience, and for a budget-friendly option it was well equipped and did the job. We made some great memories along the way. That said, there were a few things that could have been better. The sliding door played up at one point while we were in a car park in the middle of nowhere. When we contacted the owners, they mentioned the van had recently been serviced, which didnt really help in the moment. Communication was a bit slow throughout the trip. A more proactive approach would have been appreciated, especially when issues came up. On the day we returned the van, it took around 4 hours to get a reply, which was frustrating. The van itself was well equipped, though we did pick up a few extras from Bunnings a $29 portable toilet, a mat for outside the sliding door, and some net curtains, as it gets very warm inside at night. Overall, despite a few hiccups, its a great little van and a solid budget option. With smoother communication and a bit more attention to maintenance, it would be an even better experience.

  The van was great and what we expected. It's a small a van that has everything you need and drives well. The only negatives for us were that the cutlery/crockery/cooking utensils wasn't too clean (only a minor thing) & the projector needs wifi (which we had been told but would still have loved to be able to use it to watch TV offline)

  I had a great time with the van. It reminds me of the trip with my dad back in the old days. Not a fancy van, does the job and super cosy with the necessary amenities. Great for coastal and surfing trips.
