Absolutely amazing campervan experience from start to finish! This campervan was perfect for our road trip. Super easy to drive, incredibly comfortable and beautifully set up for both. The van was spotless, modern and fully equipped with everything we needed for an off-grid camping experience comfortable bed, practical kitchen setup, plenty of storage and great little thoughtful touches that made the trip feel really special. We especially loved the freedom of being able to explore beaches, coastal towns and national parks at our own pace while still having all the comforts of home. The hosts were fantastic as well, very responsive, friendly and helpful throughout the whole process which made everything stress free. If youre looking for a stylish campervan, we honestly couldnt recommend this one more highly. Would absolutely book again for another coastal adventure!

We had an incredible experience with the Sydney Sider Automatic campervan and honestly could not recommend it more for anyone looking for a campervan rental in Sydney. The van is beautifully set up, super clean, so easy to drive and very good on fuel! The automatic transmission made driving stress-free, even around Sydney and along the coast. The camper is fully equipped with everything you need: comfortable bed, fridge, cooking setup, solar power, USB charging, plenty of storage and thoughtful little touches that make the trip feel premium and comfortable. We loved being able to do free camping and off-grid camping thanks to the solar setup and battery system. Communication was excellent from start to finish and pickup/drop-off was very easy. The van was exactly as described and even better in person. You can tell a lot of care has gone into maintaining and designing it.

We had a great trip with the Sydney Sider van. It was easy to drive and had everything we needed. $70 charge for linen could have included towels. Communication and handover with Kim was easy as well as dropping it back off at our convenience. Would recommend hiring a campervan through Kim and Ash and hitting the NSW coast!

The van was fantastic especially for 1-2 people max it was clean and tidy and easy to drive The awning made for a lovely out door area and I found the bed comfortable and well appointed I took my own table and chairs which I found appropriate for my vintage and also took a little stool to make it easier to get in and out of the van I found Kim And Ash were very contactable and prompt to get back to me with answers to my questions I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in the future!!

Swell Catcher is the perfect companion for your next get away. It drives well and the screen at the front is super handy (gps, music, reversing camera). The fit is perfect. Stylish and with everything you need. Large comfy bed, good curtains, lights to read, large fridge, plugs and usb ports well placed, kitchen with everything you need. The van is a real trooper, a great little camper that got us from Sydney to Byron Bay and back without any major issues. This was our first camper van experience, and for a budget-friendly option it was well equipped and did the job. We made some great memories along the way. That said, there were a few things that could have been better. The sliding door played up at one point while we were in a car park in the middle of nowhere. When we contacted the owners, they mentioned the van had recently been serviced, which didnt really help in the moment. Communication was a bit slow throughout the trip. A more proactive approach would have been appreciated, especially when issues came up. On the day we returned the van, it took around 4 hours to get a reply, which was frustrating. The van itself was well equipped, though we did pick up a few extras from Bunnings a $29 portable toilet, a mat for outside the sliding door, and some net curtains, as it gets very warm inside at night. Overall, despite a few hiccups, its a great little van and a solid budget option. With smoother communication and a bit more attention to maintenance, it would be an even better experience.
