this caravan was very easy to hitch and tow with my Subaru Forester. Inside was everything we needed with additional comforts such as espresso machine and full cutlery and crockery. The easy to setup awning and fairy lights were a very nice touch. Amber was excellent in communication and made sure we could contact her with any issues we might encounter. I would highly recommend

Overall we had a fantastic time. We hired the Happy Yippee for a couple of weeks and had lots of fun with it. Its easy to tow and easy enough to set up (especially compared to other camp set ups weve used). The fridge and cook top worked well with gas and electricity. It was fully equipped with all the kitchen equipment we needed. We are a family of 4 and found it a bit squishy for all of us and our stuff. It took awhile to find our mojo and the best way to store everything to make it comfortable. We needed to use the boot of our car for extra luggage, especially when it rained and things couldnt be left out. The second bed over the table wasnt really comfortable enough for that length of time. It is a vintage van so some of the bits and pieces are a bit dicky, like converting table to bed, the pop top, the hose connection for water and the knobs on the cupboards. Theyre not broken or hard to use, just fiddly. We had some trouble with the awning on a windy day, with some unexpected strong gusts. I would recommend folding it back in or securing the extra straps if theres wind, which we unfortunately hadnt done. I think the van would be great for shorter trips or just a couple or smaller family with less luggage and equipment.

Nice and light to tow. All good there. Bed is big when turned into a king. Hard mattress so a doona on top helps. Gas stove only had one working burner. We cooked outside so wasnt a problem. Needed more cutlery. Only one dinner knife and no forks. I had brought my own. Needed more dishwashing liquid and cleaning tools. No outdoor table but once again we brought our own. Easy to take off and establish its stability. Internal toilet useful at night. Could have been cleaner in cupboards. A bit dusty and a few dead insects. Its small so very little space for bags etc. pack very lightly when taking this van.

Compact caravan to tow; it was super-easy! No trouble reversing it onto site (first time towing a van). Perfect caravan for 3 people. We loved our getaway stay with happy Yippie. The owners were highly-responsive to communication and lovely to deal with. Would hire again in a heartbeat...

First time caravaners! We decided to book a caravan when the weather for an annual camping trip wasnt looking good. We were warm, dry and snug and were also the envy of our camping group. The caravan is lovely, comfortable with very cute retro decor. We found it easy to tow and set up. Amber was a pleasure to deal with. Seamless experience from pick up to drop off.
