Freebird is a very comfortable van. Easy to drive and has all the amenities you need for an escape. Rosilene and Damian were communicative and flexible which made the experience awesome. Would highly recommend and will be hiring again in the future.

Rosilene was very helpful. She gave us all the information we needed. As first time campers in a van it was easy to work and learn how to work things out with Rosiline and her husband. They were very helpful when needed. Van was easy to drive and very clean on pick up. Happy to use Van for another holiday. Thank you.

My partner and I hired the Cockatoo Camper for a long weekend getaway with our dog. We had such a lovely time away and the whole experience was super easy. Rosilene was wonderful to communicate with and the van hand over was seamless. The van was easy to drive and the set up was great, lots of storage and the inside kitchen allowed us to cook our dinners in the warmth of the van and snuggle up in bed to watch movies straight after. We absolutely loved that the van was pet friendly and we could bring our dog along on the adventure! I highly recommend the Cockatoo Camper, the vans setup was super practical and the hosts were so friendly and layed back.

We had a great experience with our van hire. Pickup & drop off & communication was easy. The van is a dream to drive and has everything you need for a road trip adventure. Very comfortable bed and plenty of space due to the super long wheel base. The kitchen has heaps of storage and it even has a wardrobe!! Would highly recommend!

One of the best experiences and trips weve taken! The campervan was well equipped and met all of our needs for a 4 week vacation along the coast. Having the onboard toilet was a big plus for the longer trip. Rosilene and Damian went above and beyond to help us out with pickup, delivery and questions while traveling. Would highly recommend renting the Freebird.

Simply AMAZING! Cockatoo is the PERFECT van: very well organized, high roof to stand up in it, kitchen inside, was lovely even just staying in it with the table and couch set, then it takes just few moves to make the bed, with a perfect set of curtains that cover every spot of the windows! Rosilene and her partner Damian were amazing themselves, kind and replied super fast whenever we had a question. I hope Ill get to rent it again, HIGHLY recommend it!

The van has some pros but also several cons that I wish Id known before hiring. Positives: The van runs smoothly and is suitable for getting around, particularly for short trips. Areas for Improvement: The bed was quite uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good nights rest. Privacy while sleeping is only possible if the middle seat is put up, which requires some toolingnot very convenient. The interior is in need of updating. The curtains had spots of mould, and parts of the van feel like theyre falling apart. The kitchen setup is difficult to use and clean, especially around the stove. The water from the built-in tank has a pungent smell and taste, which makes it unsuitable even for washing dishes. Youll likely need to buy your own portable water tank for drinking, cooking, and washing (unless theyve kept mine for you). The van roof is quite low, which was a challenge for my partner, who is 63. Id recommend opting for a van with cruise control for highway driving, as its absence was noticeable on longer trips. Owner Interaction: Unfortunately, our experience with the owners became problematic toward the end of the hire. While they seemed nice initially, they later tried to make us pay for what we believe was pre-existing damage to the van. This really took the shine off the overall experience. Thankfully, Camplify has been involved to help resolve the issue. Overall, while the van does run smoothly, there are too many downsides to make it worth recommending. Id suggest exploring other options for a smoother, more comfortable, and stress-free experience.
