-27.2.26. PICKED UP THE MOTORHOME FROM OWNER'S HOME IN WOONGARRAH, CENTRAL COAST. Note: This owner has 2 motorhomes, the one hired was with number plate DK 27 SP, 2027 or 2018 model Mercedes. Video taken of the outside as Camplify suggested. PROS: THE BOOKING The booking request for the 4 required days for this motorhome was easy enough and I appreciated the owner's flexibility on dates and price of hire. The usual details and rental requirements on Camplify website were helpful. THE MOTORHOME The motorhome was clean. COMMUNICATION The owner was communicative enough before and during the hire period. Which key goes where were minor queries from us to him soon after the hire and we usually received a good prompt response. CONS: THE INTRODUCTION It rained on the day of pickup, hence the intro to the motorhome was a bit difficult. Despite the rain, the intro was brief, much briefer than expected for 1st-timers hirers to motorhoming, which we were, and we made aware of that to the owner. THE LOUD RATTLING NOISE While driving, the motorhome made a very loud rattling noise, worse on country roads. Our 3 pets freaked out completely as they're not used to being inside a moving extremely loud rattly motorhome. If we were made aware early enough, we could've sedated all the pets for the journey. It took a very long time for them to settle ie stop hyperventilating from stress after reaching our destination. Oral sedation to pets takes 1/2 to 1hr to work and our destination was just an hour away, so it could not be given then to be able to work soon enough. The loud noise was not mentioned by the owner nor the source, in fact, the owner was not aware - the source of the noise we discovered as the loose whole timber cabinet housing the kitchen items like the oven, microwave and utensils. The following was making it worse: a) The loose oven tray inside the oven b) The loose round microwave glass tray inside the microwave STRONG SUGGESTIONS TO THE OWNER (POSITIVE FEEDBACK): 1. INTRO. Spend more time at intro specially with newcomers, with patience. 2. KEY TAGS. Make tags for the motorhome keys for their specific function, to reinforce the initial intro. 3. A PRINTED INSTRUCTION SHEET would help with details of the RV. 4. OPEN DECLARATION. Get to know your RV better! What things are making the very loud rattly noise then openly declare them for clarity and use of use. FINAL WORDS. Awesome van, presents like new. I have electric brakes but the 12 oin caravn plug would not fit on the car. Vourinus had a bluetooth brake controller connected in a couple of minutes, great service

We had a great time as this was the 1st time we hired a motor home & thoroughly enjoyed our time traveling in it! The van itself didnt miss a beat & ran fantastic the whole time to QLD & back to NSW!

This motorhome is so easy to drive, extremely comfortable beds and reasonably economical with fuel. We had such a relaxing, stress-free time and Rinus is a pleasure to deal with. Definitely recommend.

Vourinus was very helpful as this was our first van hire. Van was very clean. All the essentials were provided with the van. The A/C was particularly good as it was hot in February.
