We had some great adventures in the van for the month that we hired. We named her 'Betty'! She was fantastic when we camped off grid and in powered sites, containing everything we needed. Driving and parking Betty was comfortable and easy. Communication was thorough and easy. We highly recommend hiring 'Betty' and enjoying Tassie like we did.

Van was very easy to drive despite its size and had plenty of power. It was also pretty fuel efficient. Relaxing driving even on winding mountain roads, and the only time you really needed to pay special attention was in high winds. Navigation was easy with CarPlay. Double bed was very comfortable. Van was in good condition and well equipped for off grid camping. One pain was that there was nowhere comfortable to sit unless the bed was rolled out. The rolling bed seemed a bit of a gimmick, even in December when it was still too cold to sleep outside. When the single bed was in place you couldnt enter or exit the van without crawling under it, because it was impossible to open the rear doors from the inside with the bed in place. Instructions for using the van were clear except there was nothing about how to empty the toilet. YouTube to the rescue! Overall we had a great time and the van served us well. Thanks :)

Joshua and Elishas Mercedes Cortez was a delight to camp out and drive in .. pure and simple. As a mid-length, it was very manoeuvrable and we were able to just glide up into any beachside day park along Tassies east coast and enjoy. The slide out bed and roof top decks were magic and the awning was a godsend on the hotter days. Were already planning our next trip back into the west next year.

The van is fantastic and gave us an amazing experience for 10-day road trip. I would highly recommend to hire this Motorhome for your trip in Tassie.

We had a lovely time camping in Tassie in the Cortez. It's nicely styled with good quality fittings and furnishings. Good to drive. We are both tall and it has great height inside and a good bed length. It was the first time we had hired a van with the sky bed configuration. The bed was comfortable and its great not to make and unmake the bed every day like in other campers. The slide out bed is beautiful for a lazy sunny days but we found it less functional on cold wet days when we wanted to eat inside as the sitting space with doors closed is limited.
