My daughter and I loved Matilda. Mark is a passionate owner who explains everything you should know about the van, getting you ready for your adventure. Very responsive when you are on the road, if anything is needed. Matilda is old but reliable. Compact van, with everything you need: comfy beds, tables and chairs, stove, mini fridge and also air conditioning for very hot Australian summer nights. Matilda is reliable even if you are stopping on a site without power, thanks to the solar battery. Keep in mind, though, that the fridge doesn't work to its full potential without power, so it's better to just keep a daily supply and then do a grocery shop. I recommend Mark and Matilda to anyone who wants to discover camping with a compact, easy-to-use van that offers basic comfort.

Matilda was a great van for our first family camping trip, had everything we needed, comfortable, clean and homely. Mark was great in taking the time to walk me through everything and ensured we had a smooth holiday.

The Mercedes is great on the highway and doesnt use much fuel considering the size of the van.

The Beach Kombi was a great set up and, comms were great, pick up and drop off all very smooth. There was heaps of space for storage and for sleeping 4 people and all the key things you need for a good camp set up including a really good fridge, long lasting lithium battery that charges as you drive as well as via solar, a new butane stove, cookware, cutlery and crockery and camp chairs and table. So all you need to take yourself is really clothes, linen and food. But there's also plenty of space for more if you have more of your own gear along with 4 people comfortable seated. Definitely recommend

As described, the van is a pretty old girl. All things manual. Fresh air for air con. We still had a good time
