I would give the van itself a 5 star. It is very practical, has lots of storage space, easy to drive and super cosy. The kitchen in the back is really nice and has enough cooking space. Handover was flexible which was nice. The owner let me leave some of my stuff at her place, also pretty sweet. First thing that annoyed us a bit was that the van was not really clean, there were even some dirty wine glasses and spoons after the previous hirers. Also, the fan on the roof was not working. Then the owner said she had no clean linen so she gave us hers and asked us to take extra care of it. When we saw the linen however, it seemed like it really is her linen that she just had been using. Some of the stains on it didnt look like they could be washed but we didnt try tbh. Didnt feel nice though. When we started driving the van it made really weird noises when breaking. I assumed it was the usual: car wasnt used for a while, got a bit rusty and now you need to drive a bit until it comes back to normal. Thankfully we got a pierced tyre and had to go to a tyre shop to get it repaired. There the mechanics had discovered that the break pads are completely gone. Not very safe! We had to pay for the whole thing on spot because the owner refused to pay the tyre shop directly assuring me that she will reimburse me after which resulted in 2 weeks of writing back and forth because as it turned out she couldnt make a SWIFT payment. I have the money now. All in all, love the car, have sympathy for the owner, but it wasn't the seamless experience you expect when you pay this much money and you hope for peaceful holidays.

We had a relaxing comfortable holiday in the compact van. It was everything we expected. We had never been away in a camper van prior and we quickly adjusted to van life. It was fun for the short days but gave us full flexibility on where we could stay. The solar panel on the roof means power plugs and lights work instantly. Loved it!

This van was incredible and exactly as advertised! I had a wonderful little surf weekend getaway down the coast and Three Little Birds was perfect for it.

My partner and I rented out Elyse's van for 6 days for a small road trip up the coast. It was a wonderful space, to live out of for this time. The van had all the ameneties you could want, and storage space for everything so nothing cluttered the van! The bed is spacious for 2 people and was extremely comfortable. Elyse's communication was excellent, pick up and drop off was so easy. I would 100% rent this van out again!
