We hired the Velvet Funk for a 17 day KI adventure and it was fantastic! Super comfortable bed with everything else needed to make our adventure great. Coffee machine and back deck was a personal favourite.

We had a wonderful experience in the Velvet Funk. Combined the freedom of a campervan holiday with luxurious touches (a Nespresso machine with a milkfoamer, for example!). Cleverly designed, bed slept great, outside shower made it possible to camp even more off grid. Communication with Rolling Freedom was very friendly and fast! Overall, highly recommended!

We had a lovely holiday enjoying the peace and beauty of Kangaroo Island. The van was so convenient, well-appointed (more than we needed) and importantly a comfortable bed. The interior is nicely decked out. At least some of the time we stayed where there was a shower block, so we didnt get to try out the vans shower arrangement. We used water sparingly but the tank was close to empty after the 5 days (4 nights). The Toyota Hiace is a robust commercial vehicle but can be a bit rattly when driving. But it was very convenient and worked well for us.

We took this bad boy on a two week road trip along the great ocean road, then carried on to Melbourne and back. Trust us, we saw a LOT of other vans during this trip, and none even came close in aesthetic, or function to Coasty. We got a lot of jealous looks at our campsites from other van-lifers. This van basically became our baby, and even when out and about in the city, we looked forward to coming home to the van each night. Christian at Rolling Freedom provided awesome support throughout the booking process and while we were on the road, always replying promptly and helpfully if we were in a pinch or had any questions. Trust me, you wont find a van or host/business as good as Rolling freedom. This van has everything you need to live self sufficiently, and good vibes. These vans are van life done right.

This was our second trip with Rolling Freedom and we booked the Velvet Funk. This van had everything we needed including pull out BBQ stove, great for percolated coffee and bacon n eggs in the morning, toast and dinner at night. Loads of various lights throughout the van. Shower was used occasionally, plenty of water, TV available if needed, hot water, solar power plus stand alone battery when needed. Easy to drive, great wide angle reversing camera. Queen size bed, table and fold up chairs used the most. Drove the Fleurieu over 7 nights. Such a great getaway, peaceful, tranquil and great scenery. Would highly recommend RFC. Great communication from the team as well.

We booked with RFC for our mums weekend away to Innes National Park. A little reset before I head into my third trimester. The Rolling Freedom van made it all so easy, everything was ready to go, super comfy (which, being this pregnant, says a lot ), and the setup couldnt have been smoother. One thing that really stood out to us was the ventilation system! it worked so well, especially considering how hot it was that weekend. Both fans kept the van cool and comfortable, and even saved us from the mozzies at night. Honestly, the whole experience was effortless from start to finish. The van had everything we couldve needed and made the trip feel simple and freeing. Couldnt recommend them enough, it was the absolute reset we both needed. Kim & Maddy

Had a great road trip with the perfect van for us! Had so much space to relax and also lots of storage options too. The owner was super chill with great communication throughout the entire rental! We will definitely be bookmarking them for our next road trip for sure!
