Firstly the van is as described And a great price point We picked up this van for our trip and did the pre hire checks we were shown a few things that were damaged prevously and i did show atleast 8 other damages prior to hitching up this van / pictures taken it wasnt very clean and the fridge hadnt been connected and was warm and smelt like mould witch it had to be cleaned and couldnt use until we reached our destination so if you do hire ask for this to be cold prior to pickup we also had problems with this awning with broken parts and had been blamed for these problems but clearly hadnt been checked prior to our hire including one part shown before we left was cracked we also had problems with the hot water system going into error and we found the problem the next day as a valve under the bed 3/4 shut off once open we didnt have any more problems but clearly not fully checked and was blamed on sombody else on our drive back home the electric brakes were intermitted and found a loose connection on the trailer plug tightened and fixed issue yes the pre delivery video was a good idea but please check this van out fully at pre hire and take pictures and report problems other wise maintenance issues and pre hire brakages will be blamed on the hirer/you as this happened to us but we had evidence that it was damaged before we used this van

Few issues we had with the van which we raised with the owners. Firstly, the caravan brake lights would not work so I had to take the van to an auto-electrician to diagnose. The issue was the 12 pin adaptor on the caravan, it was clearly very old (even though the owner was adamant it was brand new). I was told by the auto electrician that the wiring on the plug was not done correctly and was shorting out meaning the whole caravans electrics could have been burnt out. After 45 mins we were finally able to hit the road. The owner was informed of this at the time but due to the plug being "brand new" he was not willing to pay to have the plug fixed. Which then of course occurred on the way home also (meaning no brake lights on the way home) We were told the awning was brand new and had been checked by the owners the previous day. Once we got to camp, we set up the awning which was in brand new condition but the arms that clip at each end had been installed incorrectly so the awning was not able to be installed properly which made it rattle in a light breeze. I agree this was not the owners fault as they had the awning professionally installed, but wasn't checked by them prior to our hire properly. No sink plug in van. I messaged the owner to ask where it was so we could wash dishes. The owner replied saying there was no sink plug, which made washing up difficult.

The van is in tidy condition and tows well. The owners are diligent and great communicators. Dont forget to bring items like glasses and tea towels etc. over all a good experience
