We are Giacomo and Michela, an Italian couple who moved to Australia a few years ago and this is our beloved VERDONE. Verde in Italian means green, and Verdone translates to big green, the perfect name for our van. It also happens to be a tribute to Carlo Verdone, a legendary Italian actor and director we both grew up watching. So it felt like the perfect match for our adventure companion, a name that carries a bit of home, a bit of nostalgia, and a lot of personality.

Carlo has been my favorite van to rent in Australia so far! Very easy to drive and super cosy interior that gave an extra homey vibe. If I can, I would love to rent him again in the future!
