We really enjoyed our holiday with Alvaros van. It is a very nice van and had everything we needed. The comfort was great, with air conditioning in the front of the van and a good ventilator in the back. The kitchen was well equipped. We made a beautiful trip to the south of Australia, all the way to Bungonia, in 16 days. It was very relaxed. We enjoyed the beautiful nature and some cities, like Sydney. Alvaro is very kind and helpful. He arranged everything very well and was always easy to reach. His communication was fast and clear.

We recently hired this van for Woodford. To start with the positives: the owner, Alvaro, was a genuinely nice chap to deal with, the van has lots of potential, and it drives very well, which made the driving part of the trip itself easy and comfortable. There were, however, a number of practical and safety issues that affected our Woodford experience. These included the absence of a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, first aid kit and smoke alarm; no kettle (for boiling water on gas); no basic cleaning products; no fly screens; no windows in the back; cigarette butts left inside on pickup. The roof leaks; the mattress wasnt great and could do with an upgrade; storage is limited and not very practical when the van is in motion. The battery on the ceiling fan remote was flat; USB charging ports worked inconsistently; and limited capacity to store solar power meant the fan didnt operate reliably; with the fridge switching off being the main issue. The van also has a very small (15 L) water tank; there are no wheel chocks for leveling; no ability to plug into mains power (FYI); paper blinds were sticky-taped in place; and also there is no awning. Overall, the van could be a great hire with some attention to these details. If youre planning to hire it, Id recommend checking that these issues have been addressed beforehand to avoid inconvenience during your trip.
