How to get there

Yallingup is only a three-hour drive south from Perth and is the perfect destination with little adventure folk in tow. You will never be far from activities as the region is jam-packed with plenty to do all year round.
Family fun in Yallingup

Epic beaches, surf breaks and snorkelling
World-renowned for its incredible surf breaks Yallingup is home to Three Bears, Smiths Beach, and Injidup. If you are a family of surfers, wax up the boards and hit the reef! If shallower water is more your thing you will find crystal clear swim and snorkelling spots in sheltered beaches all up and down the coast.
Explore hidden caves!
Did you know Yallingup translates to ‘place of caves'? That can only mean one thing, get your explorer caps on and head into Ngilgi Cave. Colourful lights brightly enhance the cave and you are left to explore after your guided tour.
Whale Watching
Bucket list activities for the kids are priceless especially when heading out into the open ocean to watch migrating whales. Whales pass through this area of the coast each season and a guided tour is the best way to learn and catch sight of these magnificent creatures.
Delicious eats and treats
The Margaret River region has it all with Yallingup serving up delicious treats at every turn. You will find bakeries and ice cream for the kids, craft beer and wines for the adults - the perfect balance if you ask us. The cute striped bakery will catch your attention and we highly recommend a visit for hot, fresh-baked bread! The Lavender Tea House is the perfect rest stop for some classic tea and scones or a heavenly purple, lavender ice cream. Told you, delicious sweet treats everywhere.
Take a hike

Take a short hike along the Cape to Cape track and wind along the coast at a place that suits you and the family. If you are looking for some waterfall goodness then tap on a 45-minute hike up to Quinninup Falls. Be sure to take a change of clothes as we are yet to find little humans who can resist a dip in the falls on a hot summer's day.
