Skye is an automatic 1976 VW Kombi modified motorhome. She is meticulously serviced and in fabulous condition inside and out. The rear of sky is a spacious small motorhome, providing plenty of space for two people to comfortably sleep and travel. She comes fully equipped with everything you need for your luxury adventure. Skye is located in Norwood, but pick can be arranged in multiple locations. Please enquire when booking. Minimum hire is 2 nights, contact us for a discount for stays greater than 5 nights. We allow a total of 500 km’s to be travelled in each return journey. Longer distances may be travelled with consultation and additional km’s fee will apply. Skye is equipped with many fabulous features these include: -AUTOMATIC -Outside cooking set up with a portable bbq -Super comfy double bed with luxe bedding -Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and basic panty items -SMEG electric kettle -SMEG toaster -Internal blinds and fly screens -2 x Camping chairs -Camping table and internal dining table -Dual battery with 12V Solar power or 240v connection for powered sites -Kitchen sink and tap with 20 litre water storage -Pots, pans, chopping board, tea towels, bowls, plates, cutlery, glasses etc for two -Side awning for sun shade and alfresco dining You're going to love Skye as much as we do and we would love to keep her in the best condition for others to enjoy. Please note Skye is NOT an off-road vehicle. As per insurance conditions, travel is permitted on well maintained access roads less than 10 kilometres in length that are used for access to recognised camping grounds. Any damage from off-road usage will be at the cost of the hirer.

Hiring rules

• Please return in the same clean an tidy condition as pick up
• No offroad driving
• No smoking inside
• To prevent damage the awning must be packed away before bad weather arises
• All dishes, glasses pots and untensils must be cleaned, and all rubbish removed, failure to do so will result in a $75.00 cleaning fee
• BBQ must be returned clean and in the same condition as pick up, failure to do so will result in a $75.00 cleaning fee
• Fuel tank must be returned full tank of 95 unleaded petrol (NO E10)
• Standard pickup time 12pm (can be negotiated with prior arrangement)
• Standard return time is 12pm (can be negotiated with prior arrangement)
• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they will advise you what to do next. Then call me!
• DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• NO OFFROAD driving, vehicle must remain on sealed roads only. Insurance will be negated.
• LONG TRIPS 500 km’s round trip included in the booking price. Longer trips maybe considered, please provide your trip details. If approved you will be charged 50 cent per kilometre for additional km travelled over the total allowance. This is calculated within camplifys pre/post hire checklist

  Unfortunately the van provided basic facilaties for camping eg. The sun awning couldn't be utilised at all at a popular powered camping site. We cooked every day as we didnt want want to be cooped up every day in the airconditiined van.

  One of the best road trips youll ever take. Booked Skye for a 3 day birthday getaway for my wife and we loved every minute cruising the countryside and staying where we wanted in total comfort.
