Our Motorhome is decked out for weeks of endless fun on the road. We are always tweaking this awesome apartment on wheels so you'll be extra comfy. It is setup to accommodate you and your family of up to 4 with 2 permanent super comfortable beds while giving you the extra space of a 6-berth motorhome. This gives you the extra convenience of a permanent sitting and dining area without having to constantly setup and rig down bedding arrangements to make space. We have added 3 big solar panels so you never have to plug in, 12V fans above each bed & a bunch of USB chargers. There is over 120 litres of water available with a warm indoor/outdoor shower. We include lots of seating, umbrellas, surfboard racks, bike racks... you can do it all! There’s a new alpine sound system installed with CARPLAY and Google Maps which makes driving that little more enjoyable. We supply a Weber BBQ which you can cook on outside under the awning while drinking a cold one. Hiring rules

Currently 14 day minimum hire
Family Friendly for up to 4 people, we have kids.
No Dirt Roads
Festival hires considered on an application basis so please get in touch.
No Under 25's. (For insurance reasons)

200km per day/hire average.
Extra km will incur 50 cents per km surcharge.
Vehicle is to be returned with full tank diesel.
Toilet Wastage Cassette to be emptied, cleaned and refilled with chemical prior to return.
LPG gas bottle fill First bottle free and $10.00 for second bottle fill, leave it to us.
Pick up at 3 pm.
Drop off 11 am
Late check out is available at $50.00 or FREE if there is vacancy. To be arranged with minimum 24 hours notice.
Early collection prior to midday $50.00.
All tolls during hire will be charged at a later date once I receive from toll provider invoice.
Failure to return motor home CLEAN will incur a $250.00 surcharge.

Hire Fee: From $325.00 per day
Service fee: $100.00
Delivery fee: $2.00 per km

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

The Layback is a really great van! Its very comfortable (Im fussy about beds and these were very good), has really everything you could need (good fridge, kitchen equipment, tables/chairs, bbq etc etc) and the vehicle is in very sound condition. Andreas and Kirsten were wonderful hosts - so generous and helpful!! I would definitely hire again and strongly recommend - you wont regret it.

The Layback was perfect! A great get away with excellent facilities and a beautiful aesthetic touch. Finding beautiful outdoor spaces was just as good as relaxing indoors. The bed was SO comfortable too. Everything provided was clean, modern and useful. The owners were great and gave us an induction that covered everything but didn't go overboard. The Layback can go for days without plugging in, the solar is uncomplicated and reliable. It was so simple to just drive up to our nightly stop and pull out the chairs for a sunset drink. Nothing to unpack or set up.
