New owners but still the same great off road hard floor camper, completely self sufficient for free camping. Aussie Swags are tough Aussie built - tried and tested for travel all over Australia. Having the tropical roof and large window awnings allows cool breezes to flow through. Easy quick setup time. Flip it over and peg out the awning. You are all off the ground. Kitchen sink and two burner gas griller stove rotates to be alongside the camper. This is a light camper with a TARE 1200kg, thus a Nissan X trail or Subaru SUV can tow this trailer. Easy access to the Engel 40L fridge/freezer. New Lithium 130 ah battery so you can camp off grid with solar panels supplied. 130 litre water tank, with pressure tap. All LED lighting with multiple USB ports for charging smart devices. Inverter supplied for running laptops, fans etc. Double mattress for Mum and Dad, new camp beds for the kids on the lower hard floor. Hitches to a standard 50mm tow ball. 10 " Electric brakes on the trailer. A new hand winch to assist the flip back floor and a heavy duty double jockey wheel has just been added. A great camping BBQ, second 60L fridge or a diesel heater can be added to this hire. We will also deliver and set up for a fee to the local area if it's practical for us.

Special towing information

A standard 50mm ball fits the new off-road hitch, The standard common 7 pin trailer socket on your car required. A Anderson plug 12 volt charging connection cable is available on the camper if you have a Anderson plug on your car setup to charge the camper battery whilst driving.

This camper has been totally renewed and restored to as new condition for an Oodnadatta desert expedition. It won't disappoint.

Hiring rules

  • No smoking inside the camper, rinse feet to reduce sand into camper, 130 litre water tank fitted. Off road is allowed with owner agreement.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
