Dometic rooftop reverse cycle Air Conditioner. Gas and 240 volt hot water system. Kitchen cupboards full of equipment for your trip . Easy pull out Awning and 2 x 9 kg gas cylinders 2 x 85 litre water tanks, Solar Panel on the roof which charges the 100 amp Battery to run lights, stereo and TV when camping without power. External 240 volt power point as well as external 12 volt lighter socket outside under awning. Fire Extinguisher. Specifications Tare: 2151kg ATM: 2551 kg. Length: 19" FT. Tandem Axle. Caravan has electric brakes, Electric Brake Controller required in the towing vehicle . A vehicle with towing capacity of 2600 kg is required with vehicle set up ready to tow. This caravan has Electronic Stability Control (requires Anderson plug to work, but van can be used legally without ESC). This caravan is available for delivery and set up or self towing.
It comes with outdoor chairs, table, BBQ available on request, fully equipped kitchen so all you need to bring is your clothes, sheets, towels and swimmers for the beach.
Hiring Rules
All School holidays are calculated at Peak Rate. All other times are Off-Peak. All School Holidays are 1 week minimum hire. Please enquire if shorter bookings are available. No gravel roads. Intended travel destination to be approved by owner. Experienced towers over 25years only with a suitable vehicle fitted out for towing, with a minimum of 2600kg towing capacity on the car.

The van is as good as new and brilliantly set up. It has everything you’ll need for your holidays.
Will definitely book again, hopefully the weather might be a bit better next time!

Yet again it was another excellent trip in this great caravan. It’s been our third time renting this van and as always Fred and Debbie are very accommodating, friendly, and the van is so well equipped. Will definitely rent again.

We could not have been happier with the caravan or the process. Fred and Deb delivered the caravan to us and set us up for a wonderful experience. We wishes they could stay and enjoy it with us! They have been so helpful and flexible and always available to talk us through our needs. We found it very helpful having water containers and a funnel on board so that we could top us our own water as we needed to. This is a lovely caravan and perfectly equipped. We suggested a mirror! The Getaway Legend was a beautiful caravan to hire and it was an absolute pleasure to meet Fred and Deb! From day 1 of our enquiry they took us through all the ins and outs of the caravan and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and confident with the trip we were about to begin. Over the course of our trip we ran into the odd incident here and there, which was by no fault of Fred or Deb, however they always went that extra step to ensure our trip continued without a hitch. The caravan itself is a dream to tow and fantastic as a family getaway caravan. Its spacious, comfortable, easy to setup, and operate.

Deb and Fred had the van onsite, setup and looking wonderful when we arrived after our long trip. The van was spotless and very well appointed. There was everything we needed in the van and more. The awning was more useful than I expected as we made great use of it and sat out there each night until it got cold. Fred and Deb were very accommodating with our plans and timing and just lovely people. Can’t recommend it enough!
