Shiva weighs around 3.5 T and we have a policy of strictly no off roading. There is a 90l fresh water tank that sits very low between the back wheels of the van, please be consider this before parking especially when reversing into lots with high curbs. FYI, the following are available as extras 1.portable toilet (suitable for no.1s only) $30.00 per booking 2.Kanu lockable tie downs for roof rack $20.00 per booking 3. Bedding linen $30.00 per booking

Hiring rules

  • Tolls incurred at hirers expense and will be calculated after the trip.
  • No smoking or open flames in van
  • No off road, no gravel road
  • 250km per day travel allocation is permitted , $0.00.5 for every additional km will be charge to cover for servicing and maintenance
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Great van easy to drive and maneuver. Most necessaries provided. Comms with Laura were timely and clear. We had an enjoyable holiday

    The van was fantastic it had everything we needed for our first trip. The bed was super comfy and there was a lot of cupboard space. The induction stove was really good and took us literally a minute to boil water. The battery set up was fantastic we always had power whether it was driving max 30 mins or just being in the sun. Driving such a large surprisingly wasnt that difficult and it was super comfy as a passenger. I would definitely recommend Shiva for any trips! Hope to take her out again soon.

    Everything is perfect, can is clean easy to drive a bit big but we were expecting it, the van has everything you need, perfect for a little adventure.

    The host was great and very accommodating with pick up dates/times. The van is very well thought out and has everything you would need. Would definitely rent Shiva again.

Love vanlife, had my first van when I was 18yo, love living slowly, in nature, discovering new places, meet new people on the road. Dancing, music, be in the ocean are my happy places. My partner and I have been doing full time vanlife for the last year and a half, but as We are expecting , We decided to settle for a bit. And give the opportunity for others to enjoy our beautiful van Shiva.
