Stan has all the cooking gear you’ll need for your short trips of up to a week or so. He’s also got an Eski and small water tank. If you’re heading off for longer touch base so we can chat about what you might need to consider. Stan has a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, plus some cleaning equipment to keep him neat and clean along your trip. We know camping can get dusty and sandy! so we just ask the van comes back neat, and any excessive outside dirty cleaned. This makes it a great experience for all our hirers, and us, as we use Stan regularly too! Accidents happen, and we understand! And if they do happen on your trip please let us know so we can attend to it as soon as we can so the next hirer has a great experience too! We do all the maintenance ourselves as Stan’s our ‘baby’, so if you let us know we can get on to fixing things up.

Hiring rules

• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call the NRMA. Then call me!
• DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/ NO Smoking inside.
• UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
• LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 150 km's a day. After 150km per day of your trip, you will be charged 30.c per kilometre at the completion of the trip from your bond.
• FUEL Please return full of Unleaded Petrol All hires include a full tank upon departure.
• CLEANING We ask that you clean the equipment and Van. We have a pop out sink to clean your cooking and eating gear. We know camping can get dusty and sandy, so we just like the can wiped down and swept. If there is excessive dirt o her than general Road dust and rain residue we’d ask you give it a hose down. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
• COOKING GAS Please let us know if the butane canister runs out so we can replace them for the next hirer.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  Stan the Van is super well equipped for any adventure, and it was even great in the rain. I had everything I could need, and it was a super comfortable stay. Easy to drive, park and manoeuvre - Stan the Van will be the perfect Van for your trip! Communication with the owners was excellent, amazing people who are very thorough and thoughtful in their handover of the van.

  My partner I had a great time with Stan the van, the owner Matt was really easy to deal with and helpful with organising the pick up and drop off. The Van is a simple set up but perfect for getting away for a couple days.

  Van had everything we needed! Very cosy and the tints are super dark in the rear for that extra privacy. Would definitely hire again in the near future!
