New to camping or just want a little more luxury on your adventure? Vincent is the one for you! Kick back, relax and enjoy your personalised journey with Vincent Van Gogh, the comfortable 2008 Mercedes Sprinter van, thoughtfully converted from a 12 seater bus into a little home on wheels. Vincents adventure with us (Matt and Manon) started back in 2020, when we purchased him from the NSW wine region during COVID-19 lockdowns. We spent our time and energy creating what we like to think of as a little beach house on wheels, which became our home while we travelled during 2022. Perfect to enjoy year round; Vincent is fitted out with lots of windows and rear opening doors, for those early morning beach parkups. He has downlights for the evenings, so you can read your favourite book in bed or play late night card games at the dining table with a beverage in hand. Vincent boasts a generous pantry for dry goods, as well as a 55L bushman camping fridge, with a small freezer compartment (perfect for a 4pack of your favourite icecreams), running off the 12v system that also powers a water pump, extraction fan and lighting/ charging ports for your phone, drone or camera. Vincent comes ready for anything! He has plenty of rear storage for large suitcases or outdoor equipment, if you want to bring your surfboards/ paddleboards or skateboards. Included in the camping equipment, Vincent has an outdoor table and chair setting for those warm nights when it is simply too perfect to be stuck inside. Cook your favourite meals on the butane gas stove, which can be set up outdoors for your convenience. Don't stress about only packing a few of your favourite clothing items too as Vincent has an abundance of overhead storage above the bed, for any must-haves you simply can't be without. Have one of the best sleeps in your life on our double size memory foam mattress! Please note that comfortable pillows and quilt is included in your hire- all you need to bring is linen! If you do not wish to have these items in the van for the duration of your stay, please notify us beforehand to have them removed. Alternatively, if you prefer, have us get your bed ready with our optional linen extra, to take one thing off your to do list! Contact us today to arrange your own adventure with Vincent! He is currently located in Melbournes Inner-Northern suburbs, just a quick train, tram or bus ride from the CBD. We allow your furry companions to join you*, but please ask you respectfully make attempts to keep them from damaging the van as not to incur additional charges. *Please note that there are some restrictions on visiting national parks when travelling with animals, keep this in mind depending on your travel intentions!

Hiring rules

EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they will advise the Hirer how to contact NRMA. Then call me!
DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/ NO Smoking inside
LONG TRIPS 200 km's a day is included in the booking price (this will be added as a total i.e. if you booked 5 days you can drive 1,000 km's, with no singleday restriction). You will be charged 75c per additional km travelled over the total allowance. This is calculated within Camplify's pre/posthire checklist
FUEL Return full of DIESEL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
CLEANING Clean the equipment and Van to a reasonable standard to make it a little easier for us!
DO NOT refill water tanks with nonpotable (nondrinkable) water.
Please drive carefully and treat Vincent with respect as you would your own. Big vehicles need more caution.

Hirer must be 22 years of age or older.

Hire Fee: From $110.00 per day
Service fee: $40.00
Delivery fee: $1.00 per km

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Had a great time road tripping and camping down the Great Ocean Rd with our two pups in Vincent Van Gogh! Hes quite roomy and tall so can sway a bit in the wind but is super comfortable to stay in. Plenty of storage, bed was super comfy, blackout curtains were awesome, camping gear was great, and all the cooking utensils and kitchenware provided. Everything was quality and it was all we needed and more for our trip. Matt was also great to deal with and had excellent communication. Thanks Matt!!

Had the best time away in this van! So comfy, had everything you need - except bring your own speaker if you like listening to music! Would hire again, perfect trip :)
