Le Van is pretty simple/basic, but is very easy, economical and enjoyable to drive! Included is a comfy double bed with linen; solar panel feeding into a second battery; 4 x 12v power points; a good awning; insects screens on 3 doors. Anything else is portable and will be provided with the van: 2 camping chairs; 4ft camping table; 20l water can; 2 burners gas stove + bottle; cooking utensils; Engel camping fridge; camping portable fan; 12v to 220v inverter to charge laptop and small electronic equipments. Please note that there is no shower nor toilet. Le Van can be collected from Yeppoon at no extra costs or we can deliver Le Van to you within a 60kms radius (this includes Rockhampton Airport). For delivery and/or pick-up, we will charge an extra $1 per km from Yeppoon - eg delivery and pick-up from Rockhampton is an extra $100 for both ways.

Hiring rules

  • No offroad driving / beach driving / extended driving on gravel roads.
  • Driving on unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing (in Camplify Messages) before the trip begins.
  • No smoking inside / no pets
  • Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises.
  • Vehicle must be returned cleaned or you’ll risk a cleaning fee.
  • No cooking inside the van (use gas stove provided).
  • Any damage must be reported immediately – who, what, where and when will be required.
  • Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get of.
  • Kilometre limits – 200 kilometres per day are included in the booking price. You will be charged $0.30 per kilometre for additional distance travelled over the total allowance. This is calculated within Camplify’s pre and posthire checklist.
  • Fuel – return filled with diesel. All hires include a full tank upon departure.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    A basic camper, would probably suit younger aged group. It was a learning experience for me and all went well. Francois was very nice and helpful with everything to do. Thank you so much

    Le Van is a simple way to travel, very comfortable with all the equipment needed for basic camping. We stayed at camping grounds that provided us with everything else we needed eg showers, toilets, cooking facilities. I would recommend hiring this van from Fransico.
