The 35L fuel tank will average around 250(ish)km, there is a full 5L jerry can onboard. 5speed manual transmission, no power steering, no air-con. Basic stereo with bluetooth. The sleeping platform is 75cm wide and 190 long, not built to sleep 2 inside so bring a tent for any extra people. Dixie often gets lots of attention at camps, be prepared for visitors :) #welcometotheL300club The fine print: Booking fee includes 150km per day, additional travel is charged at $0.30 per km. Tolls incurred during the hire period will be charged at cost. Please return her tidy and with a full tank or the fill charge is $2.80p/L Watch the draw on the battery and don't let the charge get below 50%, dead batteries will be replaced and charged at cost.

  Dixie is amazing A cosy home away from home. I hired Dixie over the hot 38 degree long weekend and was perfectly comfortable. Although I didnt have a need to use anything but the bed, extraction fan & fridge (& solar to keep the fridge & fan running) this van is so well equipped, you literally dont need to take anything but your clothes and food. Nikki was great to deal with and had heaps of tips & tricks on how to get the best from Dixie. Handover was a breeze and I felt super confident driving off on my adventure. Dont let Dixies age fool you, shes a great little van and you wont regret giving her a go I would % take Dixie out on a date again.
