Hiring rules

  • Hirer must empty toilet every 2 to 3 days and ensure it is empty at completion of hire.
  • Retract awning if storms likely.
  • Secure tables and chairs if caravan is unattened.
  • Attach awning tie down ropes when awning is used.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

My wife Jenny and I developed a cattle property near Normanton and with two other couples we pioneered the building of the Burke & Wills Roadhouse in 1975. Jenny has written a book originally independently published titled "McAllister" which sold 2000 copies in 12 months and recently republished and in book stores and airport News Agencies 1st April 2018 as "Back of Beyond" by Allen and Unwin. We are planning a trip to Mount Isa giving talks at Libraries as we go to promote the book.
