This van is compact but deceptively roomy! Both ends fold out, with a double bed at the front and a custom made spring queen bed at the rear. There is also a single top bunk for a child or small adult. It’s extremely family friendly and has flexible sleeping arrangements. Though it is 5 berth, you can sleep 3 small children comfortably on the double bed end if need be, the bunk can be packed away or used for another single bed. The van has lots of storage, with the unique layout of a bottom bunk removed and extra cupboards installed. There is storage under both bed ends, a large pantry, under seat storage and plenty of cupboard space in the kitchen. The dining and kitchen is spacious, especially when the bunk is collapsed during the day, with a window to the outside area that can act as a servery. The table sits 5 people comfortably. The van is designed and prepared for comfort and your hire includes storm covers, air con/heating, a tv, bed fans, stereo, gas and electric cooking, solar, fridge and freezer and it also a hot outdoor shower attached! With its compact pack up, the Expanda is easy to tow

Special towing information

If towing the vehicle, make sure your vehicle has the towing capacity for the size/weight of this van. You will need to check this yourself and make sure you are towing safely BEFORE commencing hire. A large SUV such as a an AWD Territory or Kluger may be suitable but ideally a large sized 4WD such as a Prado would be best. DELIVERY AVAILABLE - Brunswick Heads, Byron Bay, Lennox Head, Pottsville, Ballina. Cost for relocating this van to your campsite is a minimum of $85, (Lennox Head and Ballina), further afield will be determined on distance. Will supply towing mirrors if needed.

Additional information

Pick up - Lennox Head (25 minutes from Byron Bay, 10 minutes from Ballina) Linen - We encourage hirers to bring their own linen and bedding but we do offer to supply these at a small additional cost. Equipment - the van has been thoughtfully packed with essentials like crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, kettle, toaster and cleaning equipment. We also have 5 large camp chairs, an outdoor table and an outdoor mat included. We have done our best to supply what we have found useful during our camping adventures and we are open to suggestions to improve your hire even more! Extras - we have a porta potty that can be hired out. Please enquire. It will be clean on pick up and we expect it to be empty and cleaned on return :)

Hiring rules

No smoking or pets
HANDOVER we will walk through everything you need to know and the start of hire. All instruction manuals are included and we are available by phone if ever needed.
CAMPSITE Please make sure when booking your site, that the van will fit on the site. This is the hirers responsibility.
MINIMUM STAY
2 day hire minimum on our property
3 day hire minimum for drop off or self tow.
LONG DISTANCE Not be be taken more than 400 km from Byron Bay without owner consent
OFF ROAD Not to be taken off road. Camper Trailer can only be taken on gazetted roads and along campsite access roads.
CLEANING Van to be returned in same condition at end of hire unless hirer chooses cleaning option for additional fee of $100.00. Cleaning products will be supplied to this van for your use.
Excessive cleaning and trashed equipment will incur a $250.00 fee.
CAMPLIFY RULES
Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions prior to hiring this van. Be aware that any underbody damage to the van, including tyres is the responsibility of the hirer to fix.
AGE All drivers must be at least 25 years of age and have had a full licence for not less than 12 months.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $100.00 per day
Service fee: $100.00
Delivery fee: $1.50 per km

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
