Do you love camping but still like your comfort and want easy setup then Percy is the van for you. Pops straight up in less than a minute. No more driving all through the night to get there to avoid the setup, pull over set up and chill out with a sundowner. With a comfy double bed on each end a lounge area, with table, you could be playing card games, serving dinner or chilling out watching a movie in no time at all. The huge windows can be closed at night by their zip-up covers if you wish, but in daytime they can be unfurled to leave you with a panoramic view of your surroundings, with fly and mossie mesh protecting you from unwelcome visitors. Cooking for the crew is made easy with a descent sized kitchen with everything you will need to cook up a storm. Plenty of cupboard space and 98l of space in the 3-way fridge. Warm shower? No problem, 160L water tank and plenty of gas for the gas hot water system will wash away the dust, nothing like a hot shower after a big drive or solid day hiking or beaching. If it's cold turn on the diesel heater and defrost in no time at all. This beast may be comfortable and have all the little comforts but it's an animal in the dirt, with independent trailing arm suspension it will handle anything you can throw at it, you probably won't even shake up your beer. The Jayco mantra of 'small to tow; big to live in' is a real winner, this camper is light and easy to tow , with plenty of room for a small family to live comfortably. Come and rent "Percy" and you won't be disappointed.

Special towing information

This trailer tows like a dream, we have a Ford Ranger and do not even notice it is there. A brake controller is required by law, if you do not have one, we can supply the brake controller for $50 per booking. Taking the trailer off-road is negotiable but must be advised of trip length and location. Our trailer has a 7 Pin Flat Trailer Plug. We can provide an adapter if needed - please let us know.

Additional information Please select additional items under 'Extra Products' if needed before sending through booking enquiry e.g. solar panels, extra fridge etc. Inventory included: Plastic plates bowls and cups, Plastic wine cups, coffee mugs, cutlery and cooking utensils, beer coolers, pots and pans, stove top kettle, dish rack and bucket, dish-wash liquid/sponge/cloth/hand soap/surface spray.

Hiring rules

  • All plates, bowls, cooking equipment, cutlery, cooking utensils, basic pantry, gas etc (an inventory of stock will be provided) is included in price.
  • Please Return clean (Inside/outside/bbq/fridge etc) or otherwise charges will be applied, alternatively the hirer can add the cleaning fee on and we can do it for you when returned.
  • Look after the camper trailer as if it is your own please.
  • All items are accounted for and must be replaced if damaged or missing.
  • Any damages or issues to be advised to us as soon as possible.
  • Checkin and checkout times are flexible but must be arranged with adequate notice.
  • Taking the trailer offroad is negotiable but must be advised of trip length and location
  • *7 night minimum hire over Christmas holidays (18th Dec to 10th Jan)
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
