Perfect for a getaway. The Jpod is ideal for couples or small families looking to get away easily and have a comfortable camping experience. Easily towed by most vehicles, however electric brakes are required. Being a small hard shell van, there is limited to no set up time, depending how you want to use it.

The jpod is the perfect little van for a comfortable outdoor escape. Double innerspring mattress, with storage underneath, drawers, and overhead storage as well as 2 windows and a roof vent. Ideal for couples, or small families. Can be towed around and require no set up, just park and crawl in. Or take the 15 mins to set up both awnings and have greater enclosed external space, with potentially another fully enclosed room off to the side. Small and easy to tow weighing well under under 1000kg, and can be towed by most cars as long as they have electric brakes fitted. This jpod also has a diesel heater fitted for those chilly Tassie nights, or mornings, heats the space very effectively. The van is fitted with. - Double inner spring mattress with Doona and Pillows. - 100AH battery and power cord for powered site camping - Electric Brakes - Darche 180 Awning over rear door. - Side awning 2m x 2m, with tent enclosure - Fire extinguisher - Diesel heater - water tanks, pump and external tap. - Camping table and bench seats We have a number of other items available for off grid or longer hires that can be negotiated and available at additional cost. (camp kitchen, solar panels, fridge, kids stretchers, chemical toilet etc)

Hiring rules

  • No Smoking around the van please.
  • The van should be returned in the condition it was received, inside and out, with care taken to fold awnings back the correct way.
  • Any damage occurred during the hire must be reported upon return and may incur a charge.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
