Dorothy comes supplied with all the equipment you need to cook a meal whilst touring Tasmania, including, 2 portable gas cookers, frying pan, saucepan, utensils, plates, bowls, cutlery, salt, pepper and Olive Oil, she also has a kettle, tea, coffee and 2 nice big mugs for your hot cup of coffee in the morning. She has a secondary battery with 12 volt outlets for charging phones, small electronics and to power the 12 volt fridge to keep your fresh produce cold. Dorothy comes with 2 camping chairs, an outdoor table, solar shower, beach towels, bat and ball, camping/walking/information books, cosy bedding, playing cards for rainy days, torches and inside touch lights.

Hiring rules

• Please treat Dorothy with care and respect, let us know if something gets broken
• No open flames, cooking or smoking inside the van
• No driving on gravel roads, sand, snow or 4x4 tracks
• No festivals
• Return with a full tank of petrol
• Return clean inside and out, (cleaning fees may apply if this is not done sufficiently)
• 200 kilometres a day limit, 50 cents per kilometres over this.
• Keep driving between dusk and dawn to a minimum due to wildlife on the roads
• No pick up before 9am or drop off after 7pm

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  We recently hired Dorothy the camper van for our Tasmania adventure, and she was an absolute delight. From the very beginning, Petes communication was exceptional clear, prompt, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole process smooth and stressfree. A big thank you as well to Petes family for their help during the handover. Their friendliness and guidance made us feel completely at ease before hitting the road. Dorothy herself was wonderful. The van was comfortable, thoughtfully set up, and equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our trip. Every amenity and detail had been considered, making our time exploring Tasmania easy, cosy, and thoroughly enjoyable. We couldnt have asked for a better experience and would happily recommend Dorothy and Pete to anyone looking for a reliable and charming camper for their travels.

  Dorothy was the perfect way to explore Tassie! Easy to drive, the perfect size, beautifully fitted out and stocked with everything youd need plus some thoughtful extras. Thank you for an amazing trip!

  It's was great renting this van as a smaller option than large campervans. I would still recommend getting something with a higher roof so you can stand up straight. Dorothy was very clean, very neat, very tidy and had everything we needed. Well stocked with basic items that you will need. Flashlights, batteries, cleaning supplies, cutlary, fridge stove, water, extra gas etc. There is no space to store a suitcase which was constantly in the way.it would be better to have an open space under the bed rather than cupboards with doors as the suitcase won't fit into them.

  So good - the mattress was super comfortable and everything in there that you need! It was above expectations and would highly recommend over an RV.
