**Please note that whilst this van can be off-grid, as there is solar inputting into batteries for your power, if there is lacking sun, your batteries will not charge. You will need to be mindful of your power usage when off-grid (not connected to mains power). The van usually requires recharging every 2-3 days but preferably every second day.

Hiring rules

• No offroad/ No beach driving/ No extended gravel roads
• No smoking inside the van
• No pets
• Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises
• No shoes inside the van please
• Pickup and drop off hours are 9am5pm MondaySunday. You will not be able to pick up the van outside of these hours so please arrange your itinerary around these times.
• Please advise us of your flight number/estimated pickup and drop off time the day before.
• Freecamping should be kept to a minimum. The van requires full recharging on shore power at caravan parks regularly. We suggest every 23 days but preferably every second day (depending on your power usage). We will send more information on this once the booking is confirmed. Recharging your van at a powered site ensures that the fridge, electric bed lift system and awning are functional for you. It also allows you to use the coffee machine, induction cooktop and other high draw electrical items freely. If you have any questions on this please feel free to send me a message.

• A full tank of diesel
• A full tank of water (this should be done at campsite prior to leaving.
• A recharged battery (hirers should book a powered site for their final night before departure)
• An empty grey water tank (this will be explained during handover) and
• A clean interior (Excess cleaning will incur a charge)

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

It had all the comforts you need to really make it feel like home on wheels, Carmel and Luke were super friendly and helpful throughout the whole process making it as easy as possible for us to get going on the road.   I travelled with my husband and daughter for two weeks around Tas and the van was the perfect home away from home. Carmel was wonderful in communicating and everything was set up perfectly in impeccable condition. Carmel even had a fresh loaf of local bread, local jam and cheese waiting for us.
