Additional information

At ByronCampers, we always supply outdoor furniture (table/chairs), an outdoor gas cooker and ground matting for outside. This is all free of charge. We encourage hirers to bring their own linen/towels etc, but we can supply these for an additional fee. We also have available many extras that you can include with your hire for a small extra fee, such as inflatable SUP, upgrade to Webber or 'webber-style' barbque, washing machine, wood fired outdoor heater ("Oz Pig"), extra portable fridge for outside, and much more. If you think of something you would like, let us know - we probably have it available. The cost of linen is as follows: First bed $70.00 and a further $20.00 for each additional bed. So for Frankie, you would pay $70.00 for the main bed and a further $20.00 for each bunk required. Please be aware - bookings are 'by the day'! So the booking starts on the day you pick up the van or have it delivered, and ends on the day the booking is listed to end. For example a booking from the 1st to the 3rd is a 3 day hire. It's picked up or delivered on the 1st and is brought back on the 3rd.

Hiring rules

• PAYMENTS As from July 1 2024, Camplify will be introducing their automatic cancellation procedure. This means that any booking that has been approved, must be paid for (deposit) within 72 hours of that approval or be automatically cancelled.
• HANDOVER you will receive a comprehensive hand over when taking delivery of this vehicle but be sure to ask questions if anything is not clear to you.
• CAMPSITE Please ensure that the camp site you have booked is adequately sized for this van. It will need to be a minimum of 8.5 metres in length
• NO SMOKING
• IF TOWING, drivers must be at least 25 yrs of age and have held a full licence for a minimum of 12 months.
• LONG DISTANCE: Not to be taken more than 400km from Byron Bay without owner consent.
• OFF ROAD Not to be taken off road except for limited travel on unsealed roads to access camping location.
• PETS No pets.
• CLEANING Van is to be cleaned prior to returning to ByronCampers or before collection (if having the van delivered), unless choosing to pay the cleaning fee when booking. ByronCampers reserves the right to impose an 'excess' cleaning fee for vans that are excessively dirty. If you are unsure of what is expected re cleaning, be sure to ask during the handover.
• TOILET/SHOWER If using the shower and/or toilet, you must make every effort to clean well before returning the van. Toilet cassette MUST be emptied, rinsed and new chemical added unless you are electing to pay for the cleaning of the van/toilet.
• PLEASE BE AWARE, even if electing to have the toilet cleaned for you, you will probably still be required to empty the cassette during your stay, as the waste capacity is limited
• If requesting delivery, please ensure you have provided the name under which your campsite is booked.
• CAMPLIFY RULES Please be sure to read the terms and conditions prior to hiring this van. Be aware that any underbody damage to the van including tyres, is the responsibility of the hirer to fix.
• No pets are allowed
• The interior of the van must be left in the same condition it was supplied to you in unless you have opted for the "clean the van" service. Unless the outside of the van has suffered severe mud or dirt, there is no need to clean the outside.
• The van is not to be taken 'off road' except for short distances to access caravan parks or National Parks camping areas located close to sealed roads. Please note, any underbody damage to the van (including tyres), is the responsibility of the hirer to fix.
• If you require driving mirrors, please inform the owner prior to picking up the van.
• Allow 30 40 minutes for your handover. Also be aware we try to deliver the vans to hirers as early as we are able to do so after checkin time. However, during school holidays and other busy times of the year, it may that the van can not be delivered until the afternoon. We ask for your understanding in this regard.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.
