Hiring rules

• 🆘 Emergency
• If any warning lights appear on the dashboard, the temperature gauge rises, or you notice any unusual noises or behaviour while driving — you must pull over safely and contact the owner immediately. Continuing to drive may result in full liability for damages.
• 🚫 Driving Conditions
• No offroad driving, beach driving, or extended gravel roads are permitted under any circumstances.
• Any damage caused by driving in these conditions will be the renter’s full responsibility.
• 🚗 Authorised Drivers Only
• Only drivers approved and registered through the booking platform are permitted to drive the vehicle.
• Any unauthorised driver will void insurance and result in full liability.
• 🚬 Smoking
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the van. Additional cleaning and penalty fees will apply if this rule is breached.
• 🧹 Cleaning
• The van must be returned in the same clean condition as received — inside and out.
• All equipment must be cleaned and stored properly, the fridge emptied and cleaned, and all rubbish removed.
• A cleaning fee of $100.00+ will apply if the van is returned in unsatisfactory condition.
• 🛣️ Distance Allowance
• The rental includes 200 km per day (averaged over the trip).
• Example: A 3day rental includes 600 km total.
• Excess distance will be charged at $1.00 per km.
• ⛽ Fuel
• Big franky use diesel fuel.
• Use of incorrect fuel will result in full liability for all repair and recovery costs.
• ⚙️ Breakdown & Rental Termination Policy
• In the event of a breakdown, the renter must contact the owner immediately and follow instructions.
• The owner may assist in directing the vehicle to a mechanic; however, there is no obligation to provide immediate repairs, replacement vehicle, transport, or accommodation.
• If the vehicle becomes inoperable, the rental may be terminated immediately.
• If the issue is due to mechanical failure not caused by the renter, any refund for unused rental time will be at the owner’s discretion.
• If the issue is caused by misuse, negligence, or breach of these terms, no refund will be provided, and the renter will be fully liable for all associated costs and damages.
• Any issues related to camper features (including fridge, auxiliary battery, electrical systems, or accessories) will not be repaired during the rental and will only be addressed after the vehicle is returned.
• ⚡ Use of Camper Systems
• The renter is responsible for the correct use of all camper systems.
• Any damage caused by incorrect use will be at the renter’s expense.
• 🚨 Fines, Tolls & Infringements
• The renter is responsible for all fines, tolls, and infringements incurred during the rental period, including any administrative or processing fees.
• 🔑 Lost Keys
• Lost or damaged keys will incur full replacement costs, including locksmith or recovery services if required.
• 💰 Bond / Security Deposit
• A security bond may be held and used to cover damages, cleaning, late returns, fuel discrepancies, or any breach of these terms.
• 📋 Vehicle Condition & Inspection
• The vehicle is provided in good working condition and must be returned in the same condition (excluding fair wear and tear).
• A full inspection will be conducted upon return.
• ⚠️ General Responsibility
• The renter accepts full responsibility for any damage, loss, or costs resulting from misuse, negligence, or failure to follow these terms and condition

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.
