📋 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION We're sharing Silver Surfer to help adventurous travellers experience the best of Queensland's outdoor lifestyle. This Pajero has been carefully customised with quality gear and is maintained to the highest standards. What's Included All basic camping essentials come ready to go: fully equipped kitchen, camping table (140cm) and chairs, linen and bedding, shower setup, and general camping equipment. We've thought of everything so you can focus on the adventure. We can also include a portable toilet if needed. Return Expectations Please return Silver Surfer clean and tidy, ready for the next adventure. Ensure the gas stove is wiped down and free of grease, return with a full tank of diesel, and pack away all awnings and the rooftop tent as demonstrated during handover. Pricing & Kilometre Allowance Daily rate includes 200km per day. Additional kilometres are charged at $0.75/km (calculated from pre and post-hire odometer readings). Pricing varies seasonally based on demand—off-peak, shoulder, and peak periods are reflected in the calendar. Beach & Off-Road Adventures Light off-road driving on maintained gravel roads is permitted. Beach driving and more adventurous off-road routes require prior approval and may include an additional cleaning fee. Please discuss your itinerary during booking so we can ensure Silver Surfer is perfect for your plans. We will also make sure you know how to use the 4WD selector system and how to drive in different conditions. Helpful Tip Pack food in cans rather than glass jars to prevent leaks and save space. The fridge is generous, but smart packing makes life easier on bumpy roads! ⚖️ HIRING RULES EMERGENCY CONTACT If any concerns arise, an engine warning light appears, or an accident occurs, please pull over safely and call the owner immediately once all occupants are secure. For roadside assistance, call 02 4075 2000. All written communication must go through the Camplify App. General Rules * Minimum driver age: 25 years * No smoking or vaping inside the vehicle or Tent * Light off-road/gravel roads permitted (maintained forest roads, national park access roads) * Beach driving and extended off-road tracks require prior owner approval * Beach driving incurs an additional cleaning fee or hirer must clean chassis thoroughly before return (it will be thoroughly checked for any sand residues). * Pets allowed with prior approval only * Rooftop tent and awnings must be packed away in windy weather. * Return vehicle clean and tidy or cleaning fee may apply * Standard pickup/dropoff times to be arranged (flexible within reason) * No cooking inside the vehicle—use the outdoor kitchen setup * Return with a full tank of diesel fuel * Gas bottle is included; please top up if empty or pay refill cost Driving Restrictions * No nighttime off-road driving * If any engine warning light appears, pull over immediately and contact owner * No extreme off-road/4WD tracks without prior written approval * Respect vehicle capabilities—this is a well-maintained classic 4WD, not a rock crawler 💬 MESSAGES TO HIRERS (Automatic booking questions) Thank you for your interest in Silver Surfer!
