Additional information
Minimum bookings apply in peak periods (Christmas, Easter, Long Weekends). CHRISTMAS NEW/YEAR is 2 weeks or 10 days with consideration to other bookings. We are not open Sunday without prior discussion and approval.
Hiring rules
- Important Information for Our Guests.
- To make sure your journey with Our 2024 CAMPER 17ft is enjoyable and safe, please read and follow these essential guidelines:
- No Smoking: Smoking inside the caravan is strictly prohibited.
- Permitted Roads: Our CAMPER 17ft though designed as Offroad – due to our INSURANCE CAMPER 17FT is ONLY for use on sealed and bitumen roads. Travel on offroad surfaces is not permitted.
- Travel on formed named gravel roads within National Parks and Camping Areas and/or entry to rural properties may be permitted if you have obtained prior approval.
- Pets: We love our pets too. With prior approval, consideration may be given for small pets with an additional cleaning fee if animal fur/odours are present on return.
- Weather Precautions: Always pack away the AWNING if you leave the vicinity of your campsite or at the first sign of bad weather to prevent possible damage. Close the roof vents and bathroom skylight during rain, storms, or high winds for safety.
- Toilet: Please ensure the toilet cassette is emptied and rinsed before you return Our CAMPER 17ft. If the cassette is not emptied or cavity is returned dirty, a cleaning fee will apply.
- Cleaning: Please return Our CAMPER 17ft Clean in the same condition you received it to avoid additional cleaning charges.
- Ventilation and Safety: For your safety, keep all air vents unblocked. Proper ventilation ensures fresh airflow and helps reduce the risk of carbon monoxide buildup.
- Respect and Care: We ask that you treat Our CAMPER 17ft as if it were your own. Please let us know ASAP about any damage, even if it seems minor, so we can keep Our CAMPER 17ft in the best possible condition and order parts ready for your return.

Cancellations
Strict
- Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Most vans have reverse cycle air conditioning , solar panels and TV.
Rollout awnings are included on most caravans and pop tops, some have optional annexe walls.
Kookaburra Caravans Hire, Sales and Repairs also has a large range of caravans 20ft to 24ft for accommodation on your own site for medium to long term [live in] accommodation.
They suit owners builders or those requiring the hire of large caravans with an en-suite (from 2 to 5 berth ) to live in whilst their new home is built on their site.
We also specialise in Short term stationary hire: If its extra space for visitors you are after or if you are attending a sporting event, community or church conference we can help you .
We deliver the hire caravan to your site at the venue.
