Hiring rules

• 1. Vehicle Condition & Return:
• • The campervan is hired in its current “as is” condition.
• • It must be returned in the same condition, subject only to normal wear and tear.
• • If taken off road, the van must be washed before its return.
• 2. Valid License & Responsible Driving:
• • The hirer confirms that they hold a valid driving license.
• • All local traffic laws and regulations must be strictly observed while operating the campervan.
• 3. Authorized Drivers Only:
• • Only the individuals named in this agreement are permitted to drive the campervan.
• • Any unauthorized use will be the sole responsibility of the hirer.
• 4. Damage, Liability & Insurance:
• • The hirer is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft occurring during the hire period.
• • The hirer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the owner (Liam Benson) from any claims, losses, or damages arising from the use of the campervan.
• • The hirer confirms that they either have appropriate insurance coverage or have opted for additional insurance provided by the owner.
• 5. Prohibited Uses:
• • The campervan must not be used for any illegal purposes, racing, or any activities that could compromise the safety or integrity of the vehicle.
• • Overloading or using the campervan for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited unless agreed in writing.
• • OffRoad Usage: The campervan shall not be taken on 4WD tracks offroad. Flat and level dirt road camping grounds are permitted.
• 6. Additional Campervan Use Rules:
• • No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited in and around the campervan.
• • No Vaping: Vaping is not allowed inside or near the campervan.
• • No Animals: Animals are not permitted in the campervan.
• • Safety Bar: Ensure bar is installed when pop top roof is extended and in use.
• • Cleanliness:
• • The campervan, including all equipment and utensils, must be returned in the same clean state as when picked up.
• • All rubbish must be removed prior to return.
• • Cleaning Charges:
• • A $100.00 cleaning fee will be applied if the campervan is not returned in the same clean state as when it was picked up.
• • A $200.00 cleaning fee will be charged if the chemical toilet is not emptied and cleaned before return.
• • Fuel:
• • The petrol tank must be refilled to full on return.
• • At the time of handover, the hirer must present a receipt verifying the refuelling.
• • Only 95 unleaded or 98 unleaded fuel is acceptable.
• 7. Mileage Allowance:
• • The hire includes an average travel range of 200 km per day (calculated over the days hired).
• • Any distance travelled beyond this allowance will be charged at a rate of $0.50 per kilometre.
• 8. Tolls, Road Charges & Fines:
• • The hirer is responsible for paying all tolls and road charges incurred during the hire period, as well as any fines associated with them.
• • Toll payments can be made on return to help avoid additional administrative fees.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.
