The Sootbus is a rare Toyota Hiace Supercustom van from the Japanese domestic market imported to lutruwita/Tasmania for your adventures! She has completed a five-month lap around the western half of Australia and is capable, reliable, well equipped and comfy as. The Sootbus was planned, designed and built with a whole lotta love and we want to share her with the world. The Sootbus features a tidy custom camper fit out with slide out kitchen and stove, fridge, fold out table and two chairs, warm interior lighting and USB charging, fresh linen and towels and a super comfy double bed. A sturdy awning allows for hangs outdoors. She's got plenty of storage space under the bed for long trips and roof racks for your surf boards or kayak. She's also fully off-grid with solar panel dual battery setup, so no need to plug in. Just pack your clothes, food and drinks and you're off.
