Do you like the outdoors as much as we do? Then Skippy is right for you! She is out camping and about most weekends and we are finally ready to share her with others. This is the off the grid buddy. Endless energy from solar, large fridge, many USB port to charge phones, 1000W inverter to power something more, 2 plate gas cooker & 2kg bottle. The large freshwater tank with water filtration and shower will keep you going for days. The 270° awning is setup in 30secs and comes with sidewalls to build an extra camp space right around the troopy. Perfect sun and wind protection.

Hiring rules

  • Strictly no smoking in the vehicle.
  • When taking Skippy offroad (4WD tracks, beach, etc.) you must include outbackcleaning in your booking. This is booking requirement as we need to clean the body, underbody, engine room from dirt, sand and salt to prevent rust building. This fee does not apply if you take an unsealed road into a national park.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Skippy was everything we wanted and more! My partner and I loved getting away with the reassurance of knowing we could be completely self sufficient. The troopy had everything you need, the fridge was ice cold, chargers worked, fan was cooling and the awning was a must! Marc was also extremely helpful and responded every time. It was clear Marc has put a lot of thought and effort into Skippy and making it the enjoyable getaway camper you're looking for!

    Skippy the beach jumper is an experience all in its self. Take your self back a few decades, rattle and roar your way down the freeway, hide in the bushes and enjoy the simplicity of the setup. Marcs super chill - responsive communicator. If were back in NSW were back in skippy.

    We had a blast with skippy going south and north. The van has everything one need. Marc was kind and helpful.

    5 Stars for the Beach Jumper! The Troopy was exactly, what I expected! Its obviously a nearly 30 year old car, but nevertheless its simply awesome! Thanks to the HiTop, the Troopy has enough space for 2 people. It comes equipped with everything you need and it will allow you to go whereever you want to go (just make sure to align on potential off-roading with Marc :-)) Communication with Marc was fast and uncomplicated. I can very much recommend renting this Troopy from Marc for your next adventure!
