Relaxing Maudie has a spacious lounge area, with removable swivel table for dining, and three-way panoramic windows to take in Tasmania’s spectacular landscapes. Both driver and passenger seats swivel with ease, enabling a comfortable reading, screen-time, or snoozing space. A range of DVDs and books are provided. Inside, heating and cooling is provided by an AC-powered RC air conditioner. For sleeping, the rear lounge area easily converts into a comfortable double bed, with all linen provided. Maudie has a retractable awning, two camp chairs, and a camp table for outside relaxation. Take advantage of calm, sunny days, or enjoy Tasmania’s spectacular sunsets. You may even be lucky enough to view Aurora Australis, or the famous bioluminescent (sea sparkle) when parked on the coast. Dining Tasmania is renowned for its range of gourmet food and beverages. Cooking in Maudie is easy with a gas stovetop and grill, microwave (run by AC power), a variety of kitchen implements and a compact fridge in which to stock delicious fresh produce. Basic pantry items are provided. Cleansing The bathroom includes a shower and wash basin, serviced by 120 litres of clean water and a gas hot water system. There is also a cassette toilet, with chemical sachets provided.

• No smoking in or near van.
• Never open the awning in windy weather.
• DIESEL fuel only.
• Maudie is not 4wheel drive vehicle, and sits very low to the ground at rear. Offroad driving is NOT permitted, including on sand. Proceed with caution on dry, gravel roads. Please consult with Camplify if unsure about Tasmanian road conditions in Tasmania.
• Upon return:
• fuel tank must be full
• cassette toilet must be empty and clean
• clean water tank must be full
• grey water tank must be empty
• interior to be clean, everything packed away, garbage removed, fridge emptied
• Please treat Maudie as if she was your own vehicle, by keeping her clean and undamaged.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  We had the greatest time. Lesley, Rohan and Tash were so kind and thoughtful and were very responsive when we had questions. Maudie was fun to drive. We had everything we needed for our adventure.

  We loved spending 2 weeks in Maudie travelling around Tasmania The bed was extremely comfortable so was the seating area in the back. We appreciated the many complementary goodies and well stocked mobile home! Hand over was very comprehensive and easy( thank you Tash) We would highly recommend Maudie to everyone!
