Hiring rules
- ✅ Essential Policies for the Hire of Harley the Kombi
- 1. Driving & Care
- Treat the Kombi like it’s your own it’s vintage and needs love!
- 150km a day travel limit if you travel over the amount allocated for your trip you will be charged $1.50/km over. If exceeded, a mechanical inspection upon return will also be charged
- Maximum speed of 100km/h (they aren’t made for racing)
- Watch corners and hills it is heavier than a normal car and takes time to brake
- Fill with unleaded premium petrol & return with a full tank
- 2. Driver Requirements
- All drivers must be 25 years or older
- Full driver’s licence held for at least 2 years
- No major driving offences or licence suspensions
- 3. Vehicle Use & Restrictions
- No smoking in or around the vehicle a $300.00 cleaning fee will be charged
- No offroad or 4WD tracks GPS tracker fitted and a cleaning and mechanical inspection fee will apply
- No pets
- 4. Booking & Cancellation
- Minimum hire: 2 days
- 1 day hire can be arranged with dropoff to you if required
- Cancellations as per Camplify’s flexible terms
- 5. PickUp/DropOff
- Flexible pickup and dropoff can be arranged include preferred times on your booking request!
- In the event of a late dropoff a fee of $150.00 plus daily rent will be taken for each day the van is late
- 6. Cleaning & Return Condition
- Return the van in clean condition swept out, dishes done, fridge emptied and outside washed
- Hirers can request to have the van cleaned for them for an additional fee of $150.00 for both inside and outside. If this is not arranged and the van is returned dirty the above charge will be taken from the deposit. $80.00 will be taken for inside clean only or $70.00 for outside clean only
- We will clean all bedding these can be left in the cupboard
- Fuel tank must be returned full with premium unleaded petrol
- 7. Breakdowns, Damages & Roadside
- Roadside assistance covered by Camplify contact Camplify on 1300 416 133
- If any check engine lights appear, stop immediately and call Camplify for roadside assistance
- Broken/damaged items will be charged a fee of $30.00 plus the cost of the item to fix/replace
- Record details of any damage to the van, inside or out, including time & date, location at the time & how the damage happened, along with photographs of any damage. Then immediately inform Camplify of the damage
- 8. Bond & Insurance
- Standard bond for all hires is held by Camplify
- Comprehensive insurance included
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Flexible
- Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
